The power shift had been an effortless procedure, as she had expected of course. Andras was undeniably the most suitable leader from the group - he effortlessly exuded power, an indestructible commander that all others aimed to appease. Of course, she expected such a thing to be said about herself, for she had fast become one of the only Demons to care for the code they had been raised to follow. At least some of the weakness had been purged during the shift, and part of her reveled in the idea of tracking them down one by one with little remorse. Andras had already begun to educate Avery and soon enough, she would take it upon herself to bring Chernobyl forward. Avery would kill her. It had been decided the moment the female had dared take her leave.
For now, however, she had taken to the more dismal tasks of leadership. With the flood having taken place, she had taken it upon herself to relocate her own den and inspect those that had been flooded, fishing out any of the hare or fox carcasses that had become trapped. They made for an easy meal and she offered them to her children in order to teach them the locations of important tactical targets - the jugular, the underbelly, the eyes, anything that would aid them in growing to be as indestructible as their parents. Astaroth, for all his obnoxiousness, had been a fast learner though she still found herself coddling her daughter. There was a softness within her, though, that Lillith intended to crush the moment she turned two. The flood had been more than annoying, sweeping away the musk parameters that she and Andras tended to. There was nothing she detested more than anyone, even mother nature, attempting to sweep their ruling under the carpet. All of Moladion needed to know that they had taken the reigns of Iromar. Things would be different... soon.
After having fished one of the alligator hatch-lings from one of the sunken dens, she had taken the borers, its bloated body dangling from her jaws as she chewed it apart. Marshland covered her, painting her a myriad of green and brown hues, the black of her fur dampened and concealed as she strode onward. She had been feasting well, her body broader and sturdier than its usual self - for all its inconvenience, the flood had brought she and her children an ample supply of food. Having matriarchy over the land also gave her right of way and she had taken advantage of such a thing, pulling carcasses away from other members of the packs and thieving them in the night. It was all hers now, all Andras' and hers, and no other could tell them otherwise. There was little that could bother her, save the appearance of another that neither smelt of Iromar or looked the part.
A flash of white and amber, the sound of paws slapping against the waterlogged branches and the sound of a laughter unlike any she knew. It was more than enough to captivate her attention as she waded in the knee deep water, the yellow of her eyes flashing with agitation as she caught sight of the intruder. Instantaneously, she sized up the female, inspecting her gait and observing her mannerisms - cocky, so alike to those they had found in Diveen. Not a sound was uttered, however, as she slunk forward through the marshes, her ears and eyes fixated on the stranger.
Slowly, she rose onto the loam, her fur dripping with water and swamp as she crept forward, legs stiff and tail arched over her rump in dominance. Her eyes fixated onto the female, boring into her until she found and maintained eye contact. Not a word was uttered, not a single sound till she came within some ten or so feet, the half-dry fur over her shoulders and back rising in agitation. She practically radiated tension, the air crackling with anticipation before her chest began to reverberate with a deep, hissing growl. It was a warning, a demand for an explanation for her intrusion - the only leniency given came thanks to the flood, though such leniency only lasted so long. By now, the female had surely smelt that this was no free land.
Monarch
Pretty simple, Alpha of Iromar. Ultimate authority. What I say, goes.
Chief
The 'Co-Alpha'. He is her equal and has all the same authorities as she does. He is be respected and can take challenges and block steals.
Deputy
The Beta of Iromar. The most trusted wolf under the Alpha. Has all the same authorities of the Monarch in her absence. Second in command. Can block steals and take challenges.
Council
The advisor to the Monarch. One who's wisdom is often sought in matters of politics and war. Not necessarily an elder but someone the Monarch looks up to.
Trooper
The head warrior of Iromar. Shows the most skill in combat and has experience to back it up. Trains the soldiers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Stalker
The head hunter of Iromar. Shows the most skill in hunting and providing for the pack. Tasked with leading pack hunts and teaching the pups of the pack at designated times. Trains the hunters and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Medic
The head healer of Iromar. Skilled in herbs and emergency medicine. Tasked with checking on the Monarch/Deputy after a challenge and also keeping up with mothers around birthing time. Trains the healers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Envoy
The head diplomat in Iromar. Skilled in matters of politics and conversation. Intelligent and witty, this wolf keeps the pack together as one while reaching out to potential allies for support. Council is their direct supervisor. Trains the diplomats and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Governess
The guardian of offspring in Iromar. Skilled as a warrior and alert as a scout, this wolf is tasked with probably one of the most important jobs in Iromar, protecting the future of the pack and Moladian. They can watch the litter while the parents are off doing tasks, hunting, or just enjoying some quiet time. Can serve as guides for the pups, like having a full time guardian. Trains the teachers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Snoop
The head spy in Iromar. Skilled in maneuverability and blending in, this wolf must be a shadow when called upon. Tasked with finding out information about other packs or wolves when called upon, this wolf must be quick as well as witty, able to make anyone believe anything. Also serves as a thief when the need arises. Trains the spies and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Chronicler
The head story teller of Iromar. This wolf has done their research on all things Iromar and Moladian. They can give a good history lesson or spin a tale on demand when the younger minds call for distraction. Able to captivate an audience. May even help with speeches for the Monarch when necessary. No one to train but the pups or even adults of Iromar when they have questions or curiosity about the past. This wolf may even be called upon by the Council at times. Can block steals.
Soothsayer
The seer of Iromar. This is a special rank made specifically for a wolf with "the sight." Consider her an advisor/spy of sorts for the alpha and rest of the pack. She/he can gather intel from outside or supernatural forces. You don't have to believe in the magic of this ability for any wolf with this rank will be respected as a ranked member of the pack. Can block steals.
Warriors- Members of the Iromar army. Skilled in combat and overseen by the Trooper.
Hunters- Providers for Iromar. Skilled in scavenging and hunting.
Healers- Doctors of Iromar. Skilled in herbs and emergency medicine for those in need.
Diplomats- Extroverts of Iromar. Skilled in politics and overall conversation.
Spies- Scouts and thieves of Iromar. Skilled in blending in and masking themselves when called upon.
Teachers- Guardians of the youth of Iromar. Skilled in defense and culture. They shape the young minds of the future.
Children-The pups of Iromar. To be cherished as they are precious for the future of the land. Shape them and mold them into something we can all be proud of.
Members- Overall pack members of Iromar. Not specialized in a particular field yet but just as important to the population.
