Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

What could a new wolf, new to this land mean for her? What could she possibly want from me? It is all I thought. I don’t have anything to give. At least I think so. Perhaps she just wanted to beat me, for pure amusement. I’ve never been through this kind of situation, but I’ve heard about it before. Hmm..

I looked at her as she shook her fur after getting out of the water and circling around me. I wasn’t afraid of this wolfess, I only wanted to know what she wanted. It was a good spot this place. It would be very hard for me to scape. I would have to swim back and run and by the time I would arrive at the beach on the other side they would have already seen me. She spoke, welcoming me to the island. I only watched. She told me her name and who she was in the pack. An information gatherer? Well, I don’t have any information about anyone or anything in these lands. I really can’t understand why she brought me here.

- I am Attu… And I already told you why I came. My lands had been destroyed. Completely destroyed by a fire storm… By a wolf... There would be no way anyone could live in the middle of ashes.

I told her, adding the details. I don’t think it would mean anything for her. But if she wanted information, I would give her information. I don’t really have much to hide.

- I said honoring my father… He was a warrior in the pack… Always wanted to be the leader… But he never got the chance, he did die in the storm.

Yes, my father died in the storm and there was nothing I could do. He always wanted to be more, to be the leader of the pack, but he didn’t have the chance, thanks to a vision of that wolf… Paldor. The entire pack was split. If it hadn’t been for him, we would all be alive.

- … It didn’t happen recently. I had been traveling on my own for some time. I’ve just recently reached Moladion. I want a pack! It is all!

Oops… Perhaps I have said too much. Perhaps she won’t notice what I just said. The tone. I was only getting a little angry at so many questions. I don’t really know what she want out of this. I’m just a wolf who wanted a pack, it is all. Was it so interesting? I mean, how relevant could this information be? I know that I don’t want her pack. Too much water, chances of flood are too high. It is not a good land to be in.
