The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

My puppy eyes continued filling with tears even as I heard footsteps approach. My shaking stopped as soon as her words started. Maybe there was some way that I could escape still. All I had to do was pull myself together. So quickly I dried my eyes, listening to her talk about the darkness I managed to give her a quick look over. She was beautiful. White coat with a little russet, and blue eyes. And by the way she spoke and stood, you could tell she knew it. "I'm Taylor, who are you?" Her voice was cold towards me, and I knew the exact reason. Because I was injured and weak, and I was showing it. Wow seems like I've heard that somewhere before. Kershov had managed to give me many lectures, one specifically on how I should compose myself. So quickly I did so.

Even though I didn't at all like taking any of his advice maybe this could save me in the end. I managed to get myself to a sitting position, when a spell of dizziness hit me. The smell of blood was overwhelming even though most of it was dried. I didn't really like blood.. It was gross and sticky, and it made me want to throw up. I looked at the feya, but I couldn't get a grasp on anything. The whole room seemed to be spinning. Oh God, I think I'm really about to be sick. I almost fell down, but I closed my eyes and steadied myself. Maybe I could lie my way out of this.

I took a few deep breaths and kept my eyes closed and began talking to the girl. " Well you might have a point about the dark, but never mind that. As you can see I am not in the best state myself." I opened my eyes slightly the room seemed to have stopped spinning, but I wasn't going to press my luck by trying anything stupid. I pointed to my leg to show her what wasn't the obvious injury. Pain still continued to shoot up through my leg, but I did my best to ignore it. I continued my little speech I had made in my head, ( I was pretty good with speaking on the spot.) "See what happened was me and a couple of my friends had went out to play at prey plateau. Which now thinking about it .. probably wasn't the smartest thing.. We really weren't thinking about it being dangerous. But then this wild boar, it must have been bonkers or something." Shaking my head. Making my story more plausible.

"It tried to attack my friends, they are a lot littler than I. If he would have attacked them It could have been the end of .. " I left it at that. Looking around the room, the only way out was the one she was blocking. So I was going to have to go somewhere with the rest of my story, since there was no way I would be able to make it out with this lame leg. "Look, I'm really not expecting pity.. I was the one who took it on to let them escape. But my parents, they must be going insane. I didn't kill the thing so I had to get away. That's why I'm here, I was scared that it would have killed me. My parents don't know where I am." I looked down at my paws, looking sad.

There really wasn't a way she could prove me wrong. I was injured, how else would I get injured? I knew the answer.. another wolf. But there was no proof since I didn't even know the answer to what happened. My pelt had the sent of blood, a little sweat, and fear. Those were the only scents she could immediately smell and identify. And I know myself more than this other feya. I said pitifully "I just want to go home." But I was an orphan, even if she was to help me get out of here.. Where was I to go? She couldn't figure out I was lying. I just wanted to be safe.. For once.

Was that really too much to ask?
