Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Orion looked at the ebon female, decidedly unimpressed. There was no real reason for him to stick around, she didn't want him here quite clearly, and frankly he wasn't sure if he wanted to be here either. There was a lot to see in these new lands, and he valued his time. He noticed her tattered ear, and wondered how that had happened. He wouldn't ask, though, as he was sure that that wouldn't garner a response. She was a curious one, indeed, and almost intriguing. Orion had a penchant for being intrigued by things that shouldn't have been so interesting, and it was what had led him to being a wanderer, and it was what had led him to picking up so much information from those that he had met along the way. He was intelligent, but not as wise as those who were older than him, though he did act above his age sometimes. Othertimes it showed, such as right now, with his impatience with the wolf perched up on the rock.

"Oh, certainly. That's why I apologised for disturbing you." Orion said, looking up at her, before letting his eyes follow the swamp fowl as she threw it into the hungry swamp. The gurgling noise as the swamp picked over the leftovers made him grimace slightly. It was quite disgusting, actually, and he looked down at his muddy chest and legs. Gross. He'd have to clean himself off in some nicer water sooner or later, preferably sooner. He watched as she jumped down from the rock, leaves and all kinds of mess falling off of her coat. This swamp seemed to be more trouble than it was worth and he found himself wondering if anyone even lived here. Well this female had been the first wolf he'd seen in the swamp so maybe nobody did.

As she got closer, Orion noticed that her coat held markings that told that she was a fighter. Far more scars than Orion himself had. She walked past him and the slight jerk of her head signalled that Orion could follow her if he wished, and so he did. This certainly was panning out to be an interesting encounter and might even take a turn for the better, maybe. He would still stay on his guard. He wasn't sure of what stories her scars told, but she had lived to tell them, so that must mean something.

Orion's ears flicked forwards to catch her next words. "Well, like I said, I'm new in these lands. I know this place is called Moladion but that is about all. I was wondering if you could tell me anything more about it." he said. His voice held a slight inflection of a question. Perhaps she couldn't help him, perhaps she could, either way it was worth a shot.
