Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.
Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Out of all the places my nomadic life style has taken me, the mountain was by far the closest to a home. The misty air and bone chilling snow was heavenly. My ghostly form only tainted with crimson hear and there, seemed to melt with the mountain itself. Hot clouds of breath left my maw as I climbed higher. The thicker atmosphere made it somewhat difficult to breath, but nothing I couldn't handle. One snowy step after the other I tread through with ease. My mind was blank and was like a clean slate as I moved farther up. It seemed like my own impurities melted away, but only for a brief moment as a rustling in the trees caught my russet auds attention. With in mere seconds my ice gazers found the source of the annoyance that ruined the dead silence. A mere bird, of all things a bird got me on edge. How silly. Looking up the slope my pink nares started to sting as the cold air hit them harder. A huff escaped my lungs and I heaved my leg up, since the snow had decided to try and stake claim on my leg. As my gazers scanned the area, a dent in the blanketed white ground caught my attention. With little to no effort I made my way, to find a somewhat clean gap of two boulders. They worked together, creating a opening big enough for about three adults it seemed. Without hesitation I entered the natural cavern. It's walls sheltering me from the harsh outside world. The space was dark, damp and cold just how I liked it. Slowly I lowered my head on my paws and kept my crimson stained auds alert.
