News - SUMMER

Summer has arrived. The world has been well at peace, and others seem to be trying to take advantage. They believe we are lazy and complacent. We are no such thing. Remain vigilante, friends and family.

Give your congratulations to Maiko. She has been promoted to Blizzard; she earned it.

We also have an activity check going. Please reply so I can make adjustments accordingly. Check will go for an entire month so we can hopefully capture everyone.

As always, if you have need of me, do not hesitate to find me.

As far as I am concerned, he is a wolf who fears my mothers as all should. When he meets my gaze, our reflections in each other's eyes strikingly identical, I can only stare back and analyze him from behind my striking eyes. I am not phased by him, not one bit, and there are those who would say that I should be. But I do not think he would harm me, not on this land. He speaks of my mother, and I I can only assume he speaks out of fear. He wishes to defame her, to make her less than what she is for he has an ego he needs to satisfy, a need to discount her in an attempt to weaken myself. I will not fall for it. I only stare daggers at him in silence, acknowledging his words but an acknowledgement only means they were heard and processed. I am not one to immediately believe whatever is told to me, even the words of my own mother.

Eden's words are more worthy of my ears. I hear how he says Heyel will ask for death, just as all do, and my eyes remain on the white figure before me. I expect he will give little reaction, little care for he tries to cover his ego at times, and yet his words...his words always violate him. He asks if Eden would bring him to death if he so wished, and I turn to view my brother for his response. Surely, he would respond with a yes. I do not think my brother would hesitate to kill someone asking for it. I would be disappointed if he did not.

But he bears on, with his words, this Heyel. Words can have use, but his voice is like an irritating crow crackling in the distance. I can feel his narcissism grating against my ears, my nose wrinkling in irritation. I cannot see why he finds bowing and hoards of wolves necessary to validate his existence. He needs others to give him power, and desires titles and names of purely social meaning.

Perhaps I simply desire a knowledge and power beyond the typical social construct. I wonder if such a thing even exists.

"Habeat etiam ab aliis, ut et reliquit lactat a matre. Rex esse nolo ego implebo necessitate et forte hoc sit tibi?" (He needs from others, like fawn who suckles a mother's breast. I desire not to be king of need and desire to fill ego, maybe, such a thing is for you?) I ask of Eden, still not directly talking to Heyel, for quite honestly I hardly care to directly speak to him aside from when he spoke of my mother when he first came. I will speak to Eden about him, in front of him, but my words are not directed towards him. Perhaps Heyel and Eden are meant to bond. Perhaps Eden is meant to be like him, for their ambitions may be more aligned, but my mother has taught me that we all different. Born of perfection, but born to carry out different tasks. I think maybe Eden is meant to wear crowns of Kings, and I think perhaps I am meant to purge souls from the shadows.

Their conversation bores me, bringing a flick to my dashing white pinnacles. I am standing now, ready to leave and find something more suitable to do, like mingle among the half-living dead. There is nothing in my expression when Eden mentions Melek, when Heyel insults her, for I care not what they think. That, is where I find my power. Yet his speaking of Eden and Solaris is one strange, why he bothers to mention Solaris being no good. Why does he care if Eden and Solaris mingle? Why does such a thing matter to him, that he brings it to Eden's ears. It is a thing most suspicious, and I get the feeling he is attempting to implant seeds of mistrust in the mind of Eden. A sly fox, Heyel tries to be, with an agenda.

Perhaps he needs to be purged of this agenda. Cleansed.

It is easy to feed off of the energy of my brother though. We do not always spend time together, nor do we always get along in every moment, but we do know how to play off of the blood we share. Eden challenges him, in his own subtle way. Standing above him, over him.

My own form, almost full grown, walks along side and past Eden. I let my violet and orange eyes fall upon my identical white form on the ground, one of mingles among dirt. I walk around Heyel's side, out of reach yet still close, my nose close to the ground as I inhale the scents around me. It is apparent now, how large I have grown and how defined my muscles and figure has become. I am a beast of white, a shadow of light that has transformed past the little puppy he saw before.

As I slide past, I arrive around the backside of Heyel. A good foot, maybe two away. I allow my eyes flick up towards Eden, a look and language we share in silence tied together by blood. Perhaps we should test this male. I have no particular reason to feel connected to him as I do my mother, and yet even she is tested by us at times. He dare come into our lands, our territory by our dens. This may be the pack of Diveen, and yet this is our space. I know Eden thinks such things to. I keep my head low, my tail flicking behind me as I watch Heyel carefully.

"Quid venis? Dic nobis, in vero. omnia permis est."(Why did you come? Tell us the truth. All of it.) I say, my fangs lifting from their veil to snap towards him. I know he will speak, but will it be lies? Will it be half truths? No, I want to know why he comes to me and my brother on this day. I want to know why he asks such questions and mentions those such as Solaris. I can feel the energy of Eden's dominance radiating into my own blood, which in itself has its own yet different energy. I know he seeks for more, and we will get it, if we have to use fangs, then so be it.
