Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

goes the clock, we laughed at fate and mourned her, tick tock goes the clock even for the monster

Really all the girl wanted to do this lazy afternoon was eat her fill in fish. She wasn’t too interested in conversing with others, which is why, she decided to come along this side of the river bank. It was quite peaceful here and with a mixture of shade and somewhat shallow waters the fish enjoyed hanging out around here. Yet fish did not like noise. This other female, was being too loud and brash for the fish to stay. So, the Monster was not surprised when she noticed the swarm of fish start to leave her perfect fishing ground. Tattered ear twitched in annoyance as she turned her neck in the other’s direction, sleek ebony fur bristled at the idea that she would have to move from this ideal spot.

“Why would I care about knowing you?”

It was the truth. Not once did she have any intention to want to spend time with this she-wolf. All she wanted really was time to fish and enjoy her meal in peace. Yet even something so simple just couldn’t be possible. She was not accustomed to others approaching her seeking some sort of company or conversation. Could they not just leave her alone? Did she show any sign of wanting some sort of conversation? Her ebony tail, trimmed with grey flicked side to side with irritation as she slowly got back on all fours. Bright sapphire eyes narrowed at the new Mother as she turned her head towards the river. As the swarm of delicious salmon swam downstream her one good ear twitched as she listened to the other drone on and all about pointless information. Sadly she did not care just who it was that gave her children or what her children looked like. Really, pups were not of her interest, not unless she found one roaming about all alone. Shaking her head for a moment, to dispel of any dark thoughts about just what she would do with a puppy should she be able to have it between her jaws.

“Hopefully the pups survive their first year, I hear rogues sometimes eat their own.”

Was the implying that this female wolf before her and this Abraxus would harm their own pups? It has happened before, maybe for not those two, but really in time she was sure that they wouldn’t care for their own flesh and blood. Her parents never did care for her and she assumed it was only natural that wolves attack their own. Without another word she walked towards the rocks and used them to get to the other side of the bank, moving swiftly following the trail of salmon. Perhaps she could find a new place to slake her full of fish in peace and not have to discuss such pointless matters like pups.
