At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

The cold breeze of the winter evening rushed through her thick pelt as she swiftly set off through the trees. She had been traveling for what seemed like days, trying to occupy herself with the short absence of her mate. Where her own intentions were, she had no clue, but for the moment, she was set on simply finding water. It had been a day or so since her last drink, and even then, it had been nothing but a muddy puddle.

It wasn't much longer until she broke through the trees, and only then did she slow her pace. Her sky-blue orbs swept over the scenery until they finally spotted her destination. Everything was silent, despite her heavy panting and the laughter of the young as she padded gently across the sandy earth.

Standing at the edge of the water, she bent her neck down and quickly began to lap up the cool liquid without hesitation. While normally she would have been more cautious, she had been more occupied with the awful dry ache deep within her throat, and the ess had not noticed in time before her front paws lost their grip on the earth and slipped into the water.

She let out a huff of slight frustration. Backing away from the water, she trotted quietly back across the sandy earth, only pausing to shake the water from the drenched sections of her pelt. It was then that the young ones raced past her, and whether it be from bad luck or just simple exhaustion, she stumbled forward once again and collapsed onto the beach. There was something wrong though.. She had expected to throw up a large cloud of dust, but what she fell on felt like.. Fur?

Her bright orbs widened as she allowed her ears to flatten back against her skull.Waiting for the response of the opposite ess, she backed away slightly and murmured softly, "Sorry.. I'm sorry..".
