Surely even Caligula agreed that a healthy relationship with Taviora would be beneficial for all - it also meant sealing a treaty with each pack of Moladion, a feat that seemingly had not been performed in some time. Of course, it also meant an increase in his work load: maintaining all those treaties wasn't going to be easy business, particularly when some of them seemed to be unable to control their own wolves. The case in point had been Vera, who had apparently deemed it fit to demand his arrival in Iromar for whatever business. Of course, it had been stifled no sooner but still... there was always going to be much maintenance to be had. Taviora, at least, had given him the impression that such maintenance could almost be considered fun - he dare not count his blessings too soon, though.
He noticed the subtle recoil of the male when he spoke of Taviora's reputation, and he could not help but chuckle quietly before he spoke, flashing a broad, toothed grin as his tail waved slowly.
"All good things, of course."
He doubted the reassurance was all too necessary but still, nobody could deny that they enjoyed flattery. Besides, he had high hopes for their arrival in Glorall and wished to seal his good faith once and for all. With Alcide having stepped down from his role as primary leader of Spirane, he hoped to find another leader more like, well, himself. Moonglow had been pleasant, of course, but they did not share the same tenacity or desire to lead, it seemed. Perhaps Coszcotl would be a closer fit, and dare he say, a better candidate to actually befriend. He maintained his even features, unwilling to provide any insight in his own thoughts as he stood aside to 'open up' a passage into the mainland of Glorall.
"Indeed, the water's here are a gift, I am sure. As for game, well, you can be certain we have some most unusual creatures here. Tell me... Coza, have you ever hunted seal?"
He rose a brow curiously, the corners of his lips turning up even further as he beckoned them forward. Perhaps a hunt would be in order at some point so that even the wolves of Taviora could enjoy the spoils that the unusual sea creature had to offer. With winter fast on their heels, he was sure both packs could use the extra food - particularly when it was as fat rich as a seal. He began to move forward, flanking his daughter as she spoke so brazenly, finally content that her excitement had plateaued. She seemed to be learning which made him proud, and better yet, she seemed to be making another friend, something he'd certainly encourage. The girl needed level headed companions, particularly if she were to ever intend to succeed him. Let her speak, he figured, for it could surely do no harm, particularly when Coszcotl spoke so warmly down to her, something that undoubtedly made her heart skip a bit in excitement.
"Perhaps, then, I shall be able to offer the services of one of my own to teach one of Taviora. We have an elder wolf here, Enigma, who is surely knowing in many things. I am sure there is much to learn from her of these lands."
Besides, Enigma had seemingly been a little bored, itching for some kind of activity. He had to admit that he had initially underestimated her, having been fooled by her age and yet... she seemed just as healthy as any other, just as eager though such eagerness was a quiet thing. Perhaps she would teach one of Coszcotl's own the history of Moladion, something they were surely lacking in. Sometimes it helped to know such a thing; it aided in treading over old wounds and understanding those around them. Solaris, he was sure, already understood such a thing. With his blood of Isola's own, he must have surely known of Ruvindra and Tesseract could not help but wonder exactly what he thought. Right now, though, it was not of importance.
With a cheerful bounce in his step, he allowed them to follow along or move beside him, entering towards the mainland before swinging out towards the coast once more. He would move them along the river's edge for the most part, an area that also offered a view of Diveen's borders but such a thing was not what he intended to show. Any wolf of Glorall understood the pride and as they came closer, he found himself having to slow his jog down as they rose over the dunes. He slowed down especially over the sand, uncertain as to whether his companions were used to its texture. But then they were there - the great ocean expanded over the horizon, a cerulean blue that hummed and crashed with its gentle waves, lapping at the shores. He could not help but smile down at it, turning to glance back once more to Solaris and Coszcotl with an obvious pride.
"This is Glorall's jewel. Tell me, have you seen such a place before? I show you our jewel today, my friends, in hopes that you understand my good will. It is... within my hopes that we, that Glorall and Taviora, can become close as both individuals and as packs."
He paused, his eyes watching for any indication of uncertainty or hesitancy. Perhaps it was not usual for the visited to propose such a thing and yet... why not? After all, they had come to him and had seemingly been glad to do so. What other reason could they have come for if they had remained so friendly for so long? He straightened up then, head tilting slightly as he awaited some sort of, any, response, be it good or bad.
