Anywhere, I...[Birch&Torram]

The woman got up slowly, trying to keep the dizziness in check and a firm hand on her ribs. It was amazing she had not taken on more damage, but it was obvious the creatures had taken a special liking to Birch. Perhaps it was because it was obvious she was dangerous, a warrior; maybe they could even sense the creature that lay deep inside her. Now that she was thinking about it again, perhaps she could get a few answers to the questions she had earlier.

"So...what was that back there?" Theron was only a little freaked out about it, but didn't let it show. There was a small feeling these kinds of things would be somewhat common in Shaman. One other thing bothered her as well.

"And back there...Torram, you said you ancestor saved Birch...how did that happen if she's still alive." How old was she? Had he misspoken? What was the deal with these two?

Theron wanted to accept these people as her friends, but that was going to be a difficult task if she didn't trust something about it. Of course, she would owe them no matter what, but if they were hiding something...that would be it.
