He had been a mess mentally for so long that being normal was an foreign thought. Something that although it was possible the steps to achieve such a thing were beyond the pale stallions reach. He lifted his head when movements from Skylar caught his eye as she came closer to him. Relief and surprise washed over him at the same time and when her lips touched his neck he smiled. It brought relief to him knowing that finally they had a breakthrough in their relationship and just maybe this would be the start to a better, closer more fulfilling future together.
