At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

Mizuki had been drinking the warm sunlight, the morning serene and charmed by the twittering birds that occupied the bone-bare trees.
The melting ice beneath her paws was slick and cold on the membranes between her toes. Spring was rising from a harsh winter, and the critters in hibernation were just now stretching out the cold, long sleep.
Mizuki's heart felt a sudden drop, in temperature and in mood. She shivered as a disturbed aura inched its miserable way into hers. She rotated her head to glance at a wolf... he looked rather macabre, his mood resonating throughout the area, dampening the bright morning.
She smiled halfway, unsure of what to think. She could feel the apathy, quickly averting her gaze as a tear streamed down her façade. She understood the feeling, but she didn't know why he must feel that way. It's been a while since she felt so cold. She stared out onto the lake's surface, hoping the waters might drag her thoughts away. She might've greeted him, but judging by his mood, he wouldn't welcome a kind gesture.
