She is taken by the whims of the mushroom, intoxicated from her one simple bite of something seemingly innocent. Surely, her healing mother would know of such effects of mushrooms, how some are simply killers and others that cause visions. Phaedra was absorbed in a whole new world, a world where Riven was the Angel sent from above, to look over her and bless her and her family. It was a sign, something so meaningful it shook her to the very core.

And to her surprise she saw the single fang of Riven exposed from her dark maw, such an image twisted and distorted that it made no sense at all. It did not frighten her though, did not startle or bring about fear. In this moment, Phaedra could not be brought to fear. Life was much too magical, and the force of the drug inside of her brought only feelings of bliss intense.

Riven's growl was like the force of heaven was bearing down upon her. The meaning of life, the universe, and everything was filling her ears, meanings derived that may or may not be there at all. It was beautiful, a song of true Angels that tickles her very inner being. Maybe she should be scared, filled with fear but she is not. She makes no notice of Riven's nervous signs, no recognition of what it may mean, for even such nervous movements were exaggerated and distorted. Must be the magic of the Angel, to look in such a way, a beam of light from the heavens itself.

When the Angel ceases her muzzle after her licks, Phaedra does not feel anger or submission in particular. She simply feels the pleasure and joy of being touched, how she can so intensely feel the limits of her own skin on her body. How well defined it was in this moment, the separation of her and the Angel, and yet her touch is welcomed for it isn't often one is visited by a true Angel that her mother speaks about.

Phaedra stares at the Angel with eyes wide and pupils dilated. She feels like she is being sucked into another time, another place so far away from Diveen. The land is bright, brighter than ever before. The yellows of the land seemed to be many colors at the same time, and yet still so intensely yellow that it seemed to consume her. The world was moving and twisting around, colors blending and moving in a steady rhythm. She swore she could see the wind, and her head rolled along the grass she followed something not entirely there in golden sky above. She was lost in this moment, taken away by the intoxication it seems, for hours and yet it is only one small moment from Riven's time. Her dark paws reach into the air, attempting to touch the sky and seeing her own paw move only brings amazement to herself. It was then she heard Riven repeat her words, the sound drawing her head slowly back towards the Angel. It was beautiful, her words, so pleasing to the ears. Phaedra slowly nods, the control in her nod lacking as her muzzle falls into the grass.

There was much life in the grass right before her. It was teeming with it. More than she had ever imagined before. It was amazing, exhilarating as she felt her own breath creep into her lungs and revitalizing her each time. She gives a sigh of pleasure, a high-pitched noise of joy escaping her before the sound of a yap causes her eyes to lift, seeing Riven once more as she lowered herself to the grass. Phaedra heard the words, and her head flopped upwards, her yellow belly turning onto the grass. She drags herself towards Riven, her movements awkward and uncontrolled, yet still smooth.

"Angelus home, yes. Yes, we are home," she said with her voice ending on a high note, her form seeking to come towards Riven's very own. She wished to touch Riven, to cuddle against her and feel the warmth of the Angel against her form. With Riven low to the grass, she reached her muzzle out, seeking to touch her chest gently. In this moment, she wished only to feel the love of the Angel before her, like the love her own mother gives to her every night. She is unaware in this moment, if this Angel would be willing to give such a thing, for her mind was too far gone, too distorted from reality. She only wanted closeness, and she could see no other end.
