Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

The mountain is where I belong. It's cold powdered earth and the sharp sting of the wind kept others away. Occasionally a wanderer or two came by, but quickly left. Here I was in my own world, my lone haven. Hunting was rather easy since I melted seamlessly into the ground and the annoying nuisance of living beings was rare. I guess I could call this a temporary "home" until I grow tired of it.

What I really liked about it though is the true lone factor. No one to be irritating, no one I wanted to draw crimson from, no one period. This was my world and mine alone. Taking my own slow pace up the mountain face, each paw sunk in. The snow stuck to each equally white paw. My ghostly form moving along, not giving a damn about anything. Rustling in a dying shrub was what broke the endless silence. A hare hopped out of the dying plant.

If I had a motivation I would've already had it in my jaws, but today I felt like doing nothing. Due to my urge of nothing I fell into the snow. Intentionally laying in its cold embrace, letting it cover me slowly. My hot breaths of air being released showed in huff clouds. Slowly I would be enveloped and eventually I wanted to disappear, becoming one with the white blanket.
