Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

I E R O N

The first trace of winter was here. Ieron watched in disgust as a light, mist like snow fell from the sky onto the rocks. The cold months were not upon them just yet, but fall was slowly starting to give in to winter's cruel grasp. Had it really been almost a year since Ieron had come to Moladion? He had enjoyed the heat of the sun upon the sands of Glorall and while I hadn't gotten nearly as warm as his desert home, Ieron had been content. But it was short lived as the days grew shorter and colder. With a sigh that puffed a gust of steam, the male shook the small flakes off his pelt and moved deeper into the crags.

It felt like such a long time ago since his paws had last touched these rocks. That had been when the venomous Rogue had found him and taken him to live in Glorall. He hadn't left the pack much as he loved the feel of the sand under his paws. The sea was also a fascinating thing and all the strange animals that lived there. Ieron had learned real quick which ones were easiest to catch and which ones were not. He would never admit it out loud to anyone but he knew firsthand what a crab's claw felt like when it pitched on your nose.

Ieron felt his mind wandering as he moved aimlessly through the rocks and he reined it back in. There was a reason he was out tonight as the snow fell. Mating season was almost upon them and he was hunting for a woman to call his own. He did not know the unspoken laws of Moladion and soon he would learn them on his own. However, for now, Ieron sniffed the air for any trace of a female who had reached her heat. Tonight may be a night when Fate took charge and left the desert wolf lost and confused. Or she would leave him pleasantly surprised. Only time would tell...
