Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

Her vocals rumbled in soft giggles at his compliments; he proclaimed that if he brought such a lady to his homeland, his family would glow with joy. She watched him rise upon slender limbs and saunter into circling her body. “Oh of course they would. And you know, if that were true and sincere then I might have been flattered and I might have been dazed with delight. But even if it had been of truth I don’t believe I could ever leave my home. As you say, I am a lady with power – though of course, that is not the only reason. I have many in my life that I would put first before any brute, even ones as handsome as you.” Her words were softly spoken, upheld in a tuneful voice despite their opposition.

Leila had not been watching her company; he assumed that he would carry out his strutting in his usual confidence before finally settling once more. But she heard the disturbance of flora quit abruptly behind her. As the darkened lady began to swivel her body for the answer she felt the weight of his body fall upon her back. Her auburn gaze widened sharply feeling his claws grapple into her flesh. How dare he even attempt such a thing! A loud growl fell from her jaw in the heat of the moment and she lowered her body with such rapidity that she was able with a quick lunge to shrug him off. She thanked the gods that he had only claimed a poor grip upon her and so could not advance further than he already had. Leila felt flashes of hot anger in that moment, it seized her body, and she trembled and shook. If she had been stronger and far more capable of supporting herself then his body would have been slammed to the ground. But she was no match for him. Her paws fell lightly upon the ground, eyes swimming with anger. How dare he?

“Wolves like you disgust me. Your vile nature will surely send you to the pit of hell!” She spat, her chest heaving in exhilaration. “If you ever come near me again then I will not hesitate to inform my pack. One my closest companion’s has power that would send many wolves on your trail. So stay back.” Her paws retreated backwards as if she was performing a sweet dance of fear and defensiveness. Her eyes never once left his body until she felt she was a safe distance apart to finally turn her back. There was no doubt in her mind that he was capable of out running her, he possessed tall limbs and was most likely able to endure far greater distances.

As she ran, soft whimpers fell from her maw. Leila did not allow her body to be detained in overpowering weakness for she did not wish anyone to perceive her in such a mood. Nothing bad had happened, she repeatedly told herself inwardly. It was fine. But her body was numb from the assault. A numbness that neither Kalgalath nor Hellene would be capable of soothing.
