Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

"Baby, don't leave me yet I don't even know your name!" Her white form came closer to mine. My fur bristled as each step she took could be heard. The crunching of the iced powder under her becoming louder as she came close enough for my fangs to sink into her. I swept my head back to her, irritation was clear, but she obviously didn't care. She gathered excitement from it. A huff of air left my nares as I exhaled.

"My name doesn't concern you."

If she was thinking I'd give it to her that easily, she was exceedingly wrong. Her ear numbing voice leaked out of her mouth like a leaky faucet. "You're a loner on the mountain such a shame; you would be a nice addition to any pack with your body." I looked at her with little to no emotion. Like she would know of pack life and if she did it was long ago. A smile cracked across her white facade and she rubbed against my side with her annoying laugh trailing not far behind. I kept my pace and for a moment stayed silent.

"Why would I give up my body to protect others? I've done so before and the end result was in them dying. So does it look like I give a damn about others."

I was hoping with this bit of information shed at least lesson the closeness. That hope was crushed though she just kept following. She needs to go away I kept screaming in my mind. Certain services she will most definitely not get from me, that was for sure. Lowly a growl escaped my throat, I'm going to have to talk to her more aren't I? Stopping in my tracks, a crunch broke through the atmosphere as I sat my large body down. My posture was that of a trained dog, but seemed worse since I had unpleasant company.

"Make you a deal alright. I answer any questions you want even my name and in return you'll leave me alone for the day. Since I doubt I won't see you again."

Hopefully this would appease her enough. My gut turned violently at the thought of seeing her again. Even worse when she brought packs into this. I rather go back to my blood lusting ways then join a pack once more. Silently I waited for her mouth to open again.
