PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

there's a little girl waiting in a garden//any

Don't blink! Don't even blink

She had come up the Peak once before. In the middle of winter. The path had been icy and the wind loud. Satitba now made the climb not out of idle curiosity but determination. She had gone over her options. She had decided that she needed the comfort of a herd. But she did not want the domination of a stallion. Her mother might have been content to that life, but Satitba had never been the kind to simply do as she was told.

She took confident strides, kicking her heels a bit where she could. She was out of the Meadow and Falls. She was determined to not look back or go back to not belonging. Damned those wolves, but they were a force to be reckoned with. The wild was great to learn how to stand, but it was damning to those who stumbled. Even once.

She continued her walk until she reached the part that looked like it might be inhabited. It was certainly a level ground with grasses peeking up between the cracks. It was here she looked around for any she could announce her intention. She even offered a call - hoping to attract that attention. Satitba did not seem to be noticed, maybe the grey stone finally hid her coat of moonlight. She headed towards the distant pine trees and grasses. She needed a snack after that climb. And she could wait for someone, maybe Impa, to come investigate her.
