News - SUMMER

Summer has arrived. The world has been well at peace, and others seem to be trying to take advantage. They believe we are lazy and complacent. We are no such thing. Remain vigilante, friends and family.

Give your congratulations to Maiko. She has been promoted to Blizzard; she earned it.

We also have an activity check going. Please reply so I can make adjustments accordingly. Check will go for an entire month so we can hopefully capture everyone.

As always, if you have need of me, do not hesitate to find me.

Return to Lunar Children
- - heaven nor hell

It is not often- not often at all that the family is together as they are this day. Or, most of them, at least. Andromeda is missing, as are most of the older children. But the absence of others is nothing new to Ambrosia, and yet the presence of some are well observed. It had been awhile since the young stardusted angelmarked girl had been around her family as she was. Since her encounter with her grandfather, and that apparent ally of Diveen- Iblis was his name, she found herself rather curious about her heritage as a whole. Before, she had mainly been keen on Andromeda's past- and she still was, but now the angel blood that apparently was thick in her veins intrigued her as well.

Her grandfather had told her she had her grandmothers face, and something about the tones of his voice told Ambrosia that he was sincere. She did not know her grandmother, or her face, but the softness that had accompanied the thought of her was something that gave her an idea. Everyone spoke of her grandfather Heyel as some old time King, a Master Assassin in his prime and a wolf to be feared. But when Ambrosia had laid her brilliant exotic gaze upon the older alabaster wolf, she had seen nothing but a particular.. beauty to him, something she wanted to know more of and spend more time around. And the more she had watched him, the more she saw her own father in him. The two themselves didn't seem to be aware of it, but the young one saw it all clear as day.

There were perhaps more interworkings within relationships that Ambrosia simply could not see as she could other things. More gears that churned below the surface and made unknown things turn and combust. But she could always see the love and the care clear as day whenever her Father turned his own bright gaze upon her. Though they were similar in their colours and markings- save for Ambrosia's startouched aspect, their eyes were different though both quite expressive. She knew her father, vain and perhaps thick headed as he was, was genuine in his love and would do anything for them. He wasn't around all too much as Andro was, but when he was he tried. Or at least tried to try.

Such as it was today, that he herded Ambrosia and some of her siblings from the den, speaking of a secret mission that Mother musn't know about before leading the way. Ambrosia was the first to fall into step behind him- after nodding her consent to his 'secret keeping' of course- her large and ever growing white paws keeping up with his pace easily and matching his the entire way they traveled. Her dark, sensitive nose picked up easily on what lay ahead of them- perhaps the destination of their quest, but she kept her usual silence the entire way. And as suspected, the rabbit warren was soon coming into view and Ambrosia's thick and lovely alabaster tail was sweeping slowly behind herself.

Hunting was something she had particularly enjoyed as most of her time was spent within the minimal forest that was in Diveen, and hours of weaving between trunks and branches and roots had worked well with her lean and growing muscles. Granted she wasn't quite half grown yet, though slowly reaching the mark, she was filling out well all the same. In time, she would reach a height only a few inches shorter than her Father, her frame one of power and grace thanks to both of her parents. She would be a fine warrior if wanted, though she had never given the path much thought. Her main thoughts were learning about the things around her, not so much the things happening around her.

Her Father's voice drifted to her ears as he gestured to what now lay below them. It was his permission of sorts, telling them to have at the warren as they pleased, and that it was their 'special mission' as designated by the Queen herself. Ambrosia had met the Queen before- Isola was her name, Aunt Isola. It was not something it seemed that would come as an order from her, but Ambrosia easily caught on to the humor and pleased toned in Azrael's voice. Before it was that she turned her attention full on the rabbits, the young white girl was quick to approach her Father- reaching up as she could to gently nudge her dark nose against his throat and nuzzle him there in a rare moment of affection from her to him. They had never had much one on one time, and though half of her siblings were prone to grooming and constant touch, Ambrosia was not quite so.

After the brief contact, it was with ease and a still-being-learned grace that she is turning on her paws and dashing down the gentle slope. She's silent and deadly in this, keeping her frame low to the soil as she went and her bright gaze intent on that which lay before her. Wolves were social creatures, and it was true more than not that working together often proved more successful but patience was not something too concerning. Searching for her mark, it was found when she spotted several rabbits more than halfway out their holes and she took her chance. Putting on a burst of speed quick as she could manage, she hoped to spook at least one or two if not all the rabbits away from the safety of their tunnels and out in the open. Only one rabbit had the chance to duck into safety but the other two were not so fortunate. They were lucky to have turned and taken off as they did with the white wolf at their heels, gaining on them and eagerly parting her slender jaws to take her prize.
