During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

the wise wolf

ooc: i totally thought, DarQ, that in Niko's post it said "Kohaku is a whole new bread to me." and I about died. then i realized it said breed and i just gave up. i'm sick and tired but this post needs to get put up so here it is :)

The first thing that helped to retrieve her wandering mind from the depths of thought was indeed his touch. His duo-colored cloak mixed in with her own cream stained one and she returned his greeting with a soft growl of her own, her lips raising just for a short while, showing off pearly whites that had sunk into too many hides of her own kind for one to be comfortable with. It was a strange gesture at the moment, and it did not hold the same power that it did a week or two back. But that was to be expected was it not? Not that Nikandros knew... A pang of guilt swept through her and she held his gaze firmly, never wanting to tear away from it. For a brief moment, she wondered if it would always be like this. The two of them acting this way. It was a question she did not need an answer to. For now she wanted it to stay the way it was. Passion is the strongest marking of love. She would not deny that she enjoyed him just as he did her. But if he was too rough with her from here until the birthing day... who knows what might happen to the little things inside of her? The idea of her nurturing younglings was something she could not see. Curious, how this might turn out to be. The beast presses into her side, and she quickly returns the pressure, leaning back into him. But the moment that Kohaku was to think of whispering tidings into her partners aud, a being showed up.

It wasn't the one she was hoping for, but the femme would not argue with the presence of one who already bore the scent of the pack the two were looking to become a part of. It was rude-- Kohaku herself had never risen above Omega anyways. She was not one to be perturbed by others who were not Serris. Why did you choose this pack? Kohaku waited a moment, wondering if Nikandros would think of something to answer with before her, but then decided that, based on past experiences, it might just be best for her to spill some words. But, alas, she was not quick enough, and a new arrival stole the lyrics right from her tongue. Good to see you well, my dear. If Kohaku had been listening for it, she surely would have heard the words, but she was not. Her attention was pulled not by the conversation, but by the appearance of him. A tall ebon frame with entrancing aquatic portals. Ah-- so this must be the monarch. Kohaku had always held in high respect the standing of regals. Even to Queens she felt herself to be willing to die for her, though she had only been in her presence maybe twice throughout her entire stay there. Now, Serris moved away from the fae who had greeted them at the borders and let loose his own words for the duo. Do you come seeking refuge or information, children of Malignant? His words seemed harmless enough.. it wasn't as if they had attempted to hide the fact that they had come from Malignant... but she caught that glance towards her, though she did not know whether or not Nikandros had. This knowing look of his sent a prickle of electricity streaking down her spinal, causing her hackles to rise just barely from where they once lay flat, unbothered. Her amber portals hardened for a moment, but when they softened, she did not smile as one would expect a femme in her situation to do. If he knew, so what. No. She would allow Nikandros to answer this one. Kohaku's listener closest to him turned to listen, if he spoke at all. It wasn't like the had chosen the pack for an utterly specific reason. She would tell Nikandros soon... she had been about to before the woman appered before them... but it was not either of the girls' fault for that. Just bad timing.

HOLY SHIT ITS SHORT IM SORRY.
