News - SUMMER

Summer has arrived. The world has been well at peace, and others seem to be trying to take advantage. They believe we are lazy and complacent. We are no such thing. Remain vigilante, friends and family.

Give your congratulations to Maiko. She has been promoted to Blizzard; she earned it.

We also have an activity check going. Please reply so I can make adjustments accordingly. Check will go for an entire month so we can hopefully capture everyone.

As always, if you have need of me, do not hesitate to find me.

goes the clock, we laughed at fate and mourned her, tick tock goes the clock even for the monster

Did she enjoy having to use Ashido’s weight to help her along on their way to Diveen? No she did not. Not one bit. She hated feeling weak. She hated how she couldn’t move her agile form without feeling the need to lean her right side into the white male, using his weight to lift her own. Seeing the older Varg roll his eyes didn’t help soothe her self-confidence and she had it half in mind to snap some of his white fur off his tail. If the Monster could read minds she would definitely be sinking her jaws into his back, ramming her weight on him for daring to think she would try to sneak some sort of affection with his son. Really. It was unfair that the mountain lion was unable to make his blood spill on the Earth. Her own blood matted in her thick ebony fur her open wounds slightly opening wider as they continued on her trek. Yet not once did she let of a whine or a whimper, already embarrassed of using Ashido as a crutch she didn’t need to give anything else to make anyone think she was fragile. There were times when she walked she would try to lift herself off of Ashido and attempt to walk on her own, but she could only do it for such a small amount of time before too much pain traveled up her right leg up to her shoulder. Her tattered ear twitched back and forth not necessarily a happy creature being paraded through pack lands. Her entire thick ebony fur was bristled highly, a warning to anyone and everyone nearby that although she was injured she felt uncomfortable and she wouldn’t hold back if she had to take a bite out of anyone. If anyone was blind to see that a loner didn’t cope well with being in a pack land, then surely a pair of her ivories sinking into her flesh would do the trick and leave a permanent lesson.

Standing beside Ashido she slowly lifted herself off him, bearing most of her weight on her left side. Sapphire eyes watched the older wolf as he interacted with the damaged white coated female. A puzzled look was plastered on her face as she watched the tender moment. She couldn’t understand why he was doing such a thing, from the exterior looks of the two she noticed they were closely related, but she hadn’t witnessed a parent tending to their child, let alone, a grown up one. A jealous feeling began to flare up in her chest as the pang of jealousy and guilt began to fill her chest and she quickly looked away studying the ground as it was stained with two different types of blood, one of royalty and one that was of no use. As the older wolf explained the events that had occurred she shook her head, ignoring the pain on her right side when she moved her head and rolled her indigo eyes growling softly. None of them saw the mountain lion coming, and she wished she would have allowed the cat to eat the older wolf. At least she wouldn’t be stuck here and she wouldn’t have to prattle on with his lies. As for claiming they were even she snorted softly, as blood chocked out from her torn chest from that push of air of disdain. Yet after she spoke in the tongue she was taught by another loner she noticed how upset the white older male got, similar to how Ayal had reacted. As he marched over towards her his fangs bared, a low snarl escaped her jaws as she pulled herself in her upright position, carrying both weight on both sides, ignoring the new pressure on her right leg. Her own hackles rose as her body trembled with anger. Her jaws opened, threatening to take a snap at him. A loner was not meant to be around pack members, let alone, a severely injured loner would do anything to keep itself alive. Well, if she was being led to a place where she didn’t want to be, surrounded by a pack of wolves, and having someone tell her what to do…well that just does not fly for a lone wolf. She was attempting to be respectful, but it was getting rather difficult keeping her mouth shut. Her grey trimmed ears laced back against her ebony skull as he challenged his authority, and the poor Monster did not back down still standing in her foreboding position. She knew full well she couldn’t fight, she was injured, she was in pack lands, she was outnumbered, but that did not mean she had to break her stubborn spirit and bow to his well. She would stay in that position glaring at the brute, letting out another rumble of a growl as he demanded to speak with her before she left. Like hell she would give him that satisfaction. As soon as she could, she would leave without approaching him, he was not in charge of her and he had no right to tell her what she could and could not do. Only when he ran off did she start to calm down, wincing softly as she placed her weight on her left side, slowly sitting down.

Already highly uncomfortable, tired, and in agony she attempted to lower her neck wanting to lick some of the blood off, but she felt that sharp pain in her shoulder feeling the skin rip, by jerking her head upright she huffed in discontent. Even in this state she was unable to take care of her own wounds. Once more she had to accept the aide of another, from someone she did not know and did not trust. Sapphire eyes watched wearily as the oddly marked brute shuffled over a leaf fill of poppy seeds. Seeds. He wanted her to eat seeds because the pain would go away? There was no way she would eat seeds, mostly liked poisoned. But as the white fem spoke, claiming that this Meryl was going to patch them up she didn’t really believe her. She would try and tilt her head to the side studying the other carefully, taking note of every injury she had received from whatever wolf challenged her, as the black brute mentioned before. Though as the girl spoke, there was confusion on her face. Why would she speak falsely, there wasn’t a need to do such a wrong thing. Her cold tone held a inquiry tone, simply baffled.

“Why would I lie about something that happened?”

As this so called ‘healer’ male looked at her she couldn’t help, but give him a haunting look. Really, she was well aware that she looked awful and those stares weren’t really helping. As the white fem reassured her and introduced herself she froze in place. Great. She was in front of not one, but two Alphas. Really, she wasn’t supposed to be here. Her mind raced as she attempted to remember just what were the social customs that needed to be done when meeting Alphas? Was there some sort of formal saying or formal mantra that needed to be ushered. Concerned that she couldn’t come up with anything she gave a soft growl to Meryl. She was a loner and really she shouldn’t be his importance. If she was his Alpha, then clearly he should stop staring at her and start working. Attempting to bend her neck moving it down to grab some of the seeds clamping down on some before she jerked her neck back upright chomping on her seeds not really enjoying the taste. Swallowing gently, a tattered ear flicked in Meryl’s direction as a low gruff cold voice crawled out, but her tone would get a bit lighter, if only for a moment she was attempting some humor.

“Shouldn’t you start working on her? I’d hate for her ass to look like my face.”

Her bloodstained lips would pull back slightly as a smirk was placed on her face, those sapphire eyes carrying subtle mirth as she looked to the wounded girl. Really, she knew she herself wasn’t a very pretty thing to look at, and why should a pretty Alpha fem have to worry about how her ass looks? Which comes to mind that she would have to ask at a later time- why in the world would someone bite another wolf’s ass in a fight? I mean really…just the taste and knowing what comes out from that end…clearly that wolf must have not been right in the head. Perhaps she was jealous that her tail wasn’t as pretty and wanted to rip this, Isola’s tail off. As the boy would work on the white fem she would look at the other ebony wolf. Sitting there, feeling the pain subside, if only slightly, she could feel her body wanting to rest and for a tinge of a moment she was feeling something she had not felt since she was a pup. For once she wished she could bury herself in another’s fur and just rest, pretending she was safe. This ghastly need to be ignored and she quickly shook her head to rid her mind of that want, but also shake away that need to rest. Already feeling like a burden and being around high ranked pack members she softened her tone as she pointed out the problem she had right now, other than the fact her face was mauled half-way off and her wounds were still unattended to.

“If I lay down, I don’t think I’ll get up and I’d rather not stick around here…this is your den, right? Aren’t I supposed to be somewhere else?”

The loner was trying, ever so hard, but just what was she trying to get?
