Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

The remnants of her speech on catching fish simmered out of her kissers. She skimmed her ivories over one last piece of flesh before tossing the skeleton away. Soon, the breath of Hachi’s voice hit the depths of her audettes. “Oh, I see.” However, it was slow coming out of his mouth. Mink guessed that he might have performed an action used on wolves that could see. She dismissed the thought without a second to spare. The ess nodded, raising herself so she could ask another question. A mixed amount of scents were bathed over the brute’s figure at her front, the very true sign of a pack wolf. However, given the circumstances of Mink’s lack of interest in other packs, she did not know which one he belonged to. Her vocals reached out again to ask the question. Hachi took the smallest of seconds to answer, or what could have been maybe a little more. “Yes I am, Saw Tooth in fact.” The vixen nodded. So Saw Tooth it was. Mink knew this pack was very active and had plenty of members to spare. It was also one of the few packs, or not really, where she knew the alpha’s name. Moth had only crossed her auds when some of the wolves she came across mentioned her before continuing off in whatever direction of conversation they wanted. She nodded once more.

“Oh, Saw Tooth. That is a very powerful pack, as much to my knowledge.” She really did not continue on the thought; flattery was not her thing. And with that, the peak of conversation dwelled in Hachi’s voice once more, the sentence lingering with the continued question. “You?” The ess thought about her answer for a little, twisting her tongue back and forth in her mouth. Did she have anything to say about Andere? Cade had not given her an answer yet, but Mink felt that she was going to be accepted. But of course, the girl didn’t know, the life of a longer still eating away at the depths of her character. So, she answered appropriately. “I plan on joining Andere Seite, however Cade has not given me an answer yet. So, as of now, I am a loner, but I like to think that soon I can have that home.” Mink wished she hadn’t thrown that fish away so soon, the scratching of not knowing what to do a little overwhelming. She nodded, feeling another breeze touch her thin face and features. Without another thought, the girl asked for his help along the side of the mountain. This could be one of the only times she would go up there at all; such a shame she couldn’t see.

But what filled her auds was not what she expected. Instead of maybe a simple ok or a hesitant response, the girl felt and heard the boy get up. It felt rushed, the air around her cranium momentarily lost in a grasp of movement. Hachi was moving away from her and probably running from the thought of a babysitting job. Mink could handle herself well, she just wanted someone to call for help if she did in fact fall. Her lips curled in a smile, almost laughing as she heard him stop. A sigh erupted into her ears, then the sound of paw steps grew larger, as did the smile on Mink’s face. “Okay, come on. Stick close to me.” The ess raised her body from the ground, her ivories glinting in the sunshine. Within the next series of minutes, they made their way up the mountain, Mink following the sounds of Hachi’s breath and feeling the lingering touch of a tail to tell her which way to go. Soon, her flat out smile vanished from her face, replaced by a subtle smile that was only a response to her own feelings. The wind started to catch, sending another shiver up the girl’s spine. But it didn’t matter; the hard overhead of the sky and trees lifted above her auds, a gentle sensation of flying on top of ground lifting her spirits higher. Had she been up this high before? She really didn’t think so.

Soon the pair stopped, Hachi turning to give another question. “Are you alright, Mink?” Alright? She was better than that. She faced the wind that brushed up against her face and treasured every moment of it. The kisses of the earth blew through her fur, sparking a beautiful sensation that left her tingling. How wonderful she felt! Her smile grew bigger, the lack of joy in her life now returning. She felt amazing, almost on top of the world as the sky lit up in bright colors, colors she only imagined. Opening the eyes she found closed, the recesses of darkness pearled back into her lack of vision, the taste of air still on the edges of her whiskers. “Yes, thank you Hachi. Have you done this very often?” Her thoughts were starting to speak for themselves as Mink rested her rump in the ground. She listened intently, the sound of her voice echoing out to the land that was below her.
