     Lightning flared and thunder crashed overhead again, and the rain only seemed to grown heavier. The cold it spread was starting to sink into Näkki’s bones. She enjoyed a bit of misery, but she had had much of it in the past days of travel. She was, quite frankly, fed up with the outside. The stiff feeling of shivering muscles only exacerbated her impatience. Alright, pleasure of seeing Andras once again had run its course and she was done bantering. She completely dropped her sarcastic exterior and exposed to him the weary traveler she was. She was tired and cold and hungry and overall, how one would expect a wolf traveling alone to be. On him, she set cold eyes void of the previous playful gleam in them as he spoke to her.

     “I suppose I expected no less,” She answered, slightly disappointed that she would be getting anything for free,“I would request I be shown to a dry den to recover in tonight and, at your convenience, I’d request an hour or so more of your time for you to inform me of the situation here, of past events, of the current packs and alphas, and of the wolves currently occupying Iromar.”

     Despite being a lazy with manual labor, she was a wolf that liked to stay on top of facts and gossip. All of this information would help her to act appropriately and guide her in this new land. He rules were different here, she knew. The demons here were not the dominant pack, and thus she had to make herself aware of how to act, where to gather intelligence safely, and also who were friends. Näkki hardly trusted anyone outside the demons who’d proven themselves, but it would good to know who she could take advantage of should the need arise. That aside, she wasn’t always the most respectable of wolves, and she needed to know who she had to avoid stepping on or insulting too badly.

     She was also curious as to the children created here, especially those of Ishtar and Haedes. She was surprised at the whispers and even more curious when she heard no more of the matter. It was like… no wolf had any objection to it or like her children with Baphomet felt unthreatened by the new litter. Furthermore, she had expected more news of fighting to come from Iromar when the leading family changed. Hadn’t Zaqar been named heir? Hadn’t he fought for his right to keep the seat? Well… all would be answered in time by Andras. Though she hoped it wasn’t tonight. She wouldn’t object if he addressed it then in there, but this storm, despite its attractive power, wasn’t conducive to conversation. Näkki was shouting at this point just to hear her own words and the thunder rumbling drowned her out. Strangely, whenever Andras spoke the heavens were silent as if his words were far superior.
