Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

goes the clock, we laughed at fate and mourned her, tick tock goes the clock even for the monster

Oh come now, some nightmares could be good? They say your nightmares, when they came to life, was supposed to help you overcome or fall into your fear. The gruesome creature with the mauled face never cared about such things. Not once did she ever have to fear anything. When you looked like her no one really bothered to try and attack. Sure she would receive second glances or hard stares, but the stench of distress made her ignore them all. Seeing no one as a threat simply because she didn’t sense some sort of need to attack. That’s what happens when you look like the big bad wolf and she wouldn’t have it any other way. She was always meant to be the very cold-blooded killer that she was. It was marked on her forehead. According to her pack having a mark like hers was a cursed mark and after being chased out, thinking she would die if she was out there all alone barely old to fend for herself. Yet when she grew in the wild, her hatred for her pack only increased.

That bitterness locked away in her heart, the stinging memory of her own parents snapping their jaws wanting to harm her. To think at such a young tender age that she was so unwanted, already being treated as if she were the worst possible thing alive. Imagine the mental and emotional trauma…who could blame the gruesome beast not wanting to connect with anyone or anything. When her first connection failed…she knew full well that no connection she ever made would fill that dark ominous unfillable void. Obsidian minx remained standing silently, sapphire eyes narrowed as she continued observing the creature. A tattered ear twitched in annoyance when she noticed how eagerly the female back downed. A low growl could be heard coming from the depth of her dark grey tinged chest at what she knew, was a sign of weakness coming from the other. Cold voice crawled out with a soft tone as her side would tilt back to its upright position, shoulders rolling back as she stood quite comfortably.

“You have very loud feet, I could hear you while I was asleep.”

It wasn’t said in an irritated way, rather it was just a monotonous tone carrying a heavy statement. At this point in time she wasn’t trying to be nasty, she was just stating what she observed. There was nothing wrong with that, right? Her attention was disrupted by the scent of a pack male making his way towards them. Bloodstained lips pulled back, like a twitch, a subtle show of those sharp fangs shown in an indirect hint that she was not a friendly creature. Although given her appearance nothing screamed ‘sociable.’ Sapphire eyes watched as his tail flicked side to side, almost a ‘cheery hello’ but there was no amusement seen on her scarred and mauled façade. As he introduced himself she would give a brief glance to the fem, before a dull tone left her crimson painted lips.

“A loner.”

And once again the Monster remained unknown, not once has she spoken her name. To know another’s name meant that you were familiar with the other, and seeing how she wasn’t familiar with anyone, no one needed to know. Then again, no one really needed to know her name- it wouldn’t be important to anyone. Not wanting anyone to have a moiety part of her.
