Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

goes the clock, we laughed at fate and mourned her, tick tock goes the clock even for the monster

The gruesome creature was a creature of self-Pride and self-respect. She was independent and she did as she pleased. To hell with anyone that tried to make her be otherwise. Being ran out by her own parents, her own pack believing she was an abomination as a young pup, can scar a puppy’s psyche forever. Always haunted by the sound of snarls and snapping teeth, running for her life being chased by those she thought she loved and cared for. At a very tender age she learned that packs weren’t good and so, she went on her own. She fought hard. Mother Nature only allowed the worthy to survive and she struggled to make herself a perfect candidate. She didn’t need her pack and she couldn’t understand why this brute in front of her was incapable of standing up for himself. She obliterated her pack when she got older, making the curse mark ring true. It was her way of getting revenge and she felt satisfied, and so very, very alone. A tattered ear twitched in annoyance as he confirmed what she always believed. They were nothing more than titles, pointless stupid titles that didn’t need to be given in the first place. Of all the ‘Demons’ she had to meet, she had to get attached to the one that was no Demon as all. Funny how Fate worked. A low growl rose when she felt his breath release calmly on her scarred muzzle and she snapped her jaws at him. Not understanding why at this close proximity he was enjoying this and why she couldn’t sink her teeth into him. Each time she made the urge to do it, something inside her screamed and held her back. She noticed his form change into despair when he looked away from her. She was all too familiar with that look on his face. She had seen it before on her own. Though no sympathy was given to him, she spoke the truth and she was an honest creature, brutal, but honest. Hackles remained raised as her snarky voice held a soft bite in it, attempting to explain that perhaps he shouldn’t be this…he could try and be so much more.

“If you are considered a defect then why bother staying? They are nothing to you just as you are nothing to them. I was not wanted, but look at me now, I am stronger, I am better and they are all dead.”

There was flicker, an odd glimmer of something that just wasn’t right in the obsidian gruesome creature. As a pup she was always called a Monster, before the scars, before her fae was forever ruined by those she considered her personal protectors. No pup should ever hear their parents speak of their hatred against her, always wishing she were dead. Being on her own, living by herself, she stayed within the wild lands, but always remained near her home’s territory. Then one night their nightmares came true. One night that cursed mark on her forehead finally came into use. Her pack was no more. They were gone and never again would any know of the meaning about her mark, besides herself. In a way, she had proven them all wrong, but as the light left their eyes she was forever haunted by the realization that she truly was the Monster they feared…and she didn’t give a damn. They made her this way. As he brings his nose closer to hers she heard his affectionate growl rumble and his lips curl to show off his teeth. An almost hissing sound came from her when she heard his growl’s tone sound, not understanding why he was showing affection. Her next cold tone held a nasty venom as she drew her muzzle away from his, sapphire eyes glaring into his icy blue pair.

“Discover what? What exactly do I need to discover from you other than the fact that I don’t need to be attached to someone unworthy in their own lands let alone my presence.”

Don’t give up on her just yet. She wasn’t understanding why her hormones were going off the wall. She didn’t understand the instinctual need to be around a male, more so than normal, during this wintery season. She couldn’t cope with the idea that she was being influenced, by her own DNA, that she was supposed to be with him for a little while to carry on the generation. What that generation would be, she didn’t know, but the primal instinct to be close was too strong. Never, not once, has any many shown interest and here was a specimen. Not a prime one, but one none the less. The poor girl could not understand that it was good to have companionship with the opposite sex, her heart was far too cold and someone needed to thaw it.
