I E R O N
Tension was growing between the two males as the female simply watched on. Ieron could feel it sizzling in the air and it took all he had not to laugh. It was rather amusing how alphas reacted to certain stories. Tell them you were but a lowly omega in your previous pack and they don't bat an eye. Let them know that you tried to steal the throne and suddenly you are out to get them. How could one not chuckle slightly? It seemed that Tesseract also found some deal of amusement in the situation as well for a smile touched his lips that was cold as ice and never reached his eyes. Ieron's ears twitched as he listened to Tesseract's threat. Interesting. A gust of air left the smaller male’s nose as he snorted out a laugh. "Please forgive my forwardness, Tesseract, but if I had wanted your pack I would have challenged for it rather then ask to be a part of it."
He wasn't about to let his true plans come to a head just yet. There was still time for that. While Ieron wasn't exactly content with being a subordinate, he was willing to do so in order to learn more about Moladion and the wolves born here. What other packs were there and what relationship they had with Glorall. So much to see and do and Ieron knew could bide his time. He was still in the prime of his life at the ripe age of fourteen and while the years were slowly starting to creep on him, Ieron was healthy and strong. He still had another ten years to go before he would let death take him away. It was then that the small desert wolf realized he and Tesseract had been locking eyes for a few minutes. It had been a few minutes too long according to the alpha's high arched tail and bristling fur.
Ieron let his own fur settle down and he lowered his eyes again to show that he wasn't threatening. For now. "I thank you for the help and I apologize if I have offended you, my lord. I was simply answering your question honestly. I am not known to be much of a liar." 'But I am very good at hiding the whole truth,' Ieron thought to himself. He ignored the second threat and let it slide off his back. There was no point in starting a fight here. With Rogue loyal to Tesseract and the white wolf much larger then himself, Ieron knew he would lose terribly and be cast away and with winter here he didn't much like the thought of being alone. No, for now, Ieron would wait. He would play nice with the other kiddies and submit to those who thought they were better. One day he would show them all. Soon.
