Whether or not the bitch could draw I didn�t particularly care. She was admiring my beauty and glory, and rightfully so, so that no matter her artistic skill if the work being created was at all representative of me, it would be simply breathtaking. I knew as much, and, if she had any brains between her ears, the bitch would know as well. Sometimes I couldn�t help but question whether my prince was, at times, blind to my true magnificence. And then I remembered that he simply couldn�t play favorites. He had to pretend with the bitch, but that would be over soon enough.

As my nervous wreck of a familiar was comforted by the wolf in the room, I could sense my own nerves about this plan diminishing. This would most certainly work, especially once the bait was laid. I turned from the window and the view of the kingdom it held to look into the darkness of the room. Having looked into the soft light from behind the clouds outside, the inner world of the castle was like a hungry cavern, eating all the light that poured through the small holes in its skin.

One by one, they filtered from the room to find Mordred and so that his location would be easy to find later, when the need arose.
