Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

goes the clock, we laughed at fate and mourned her, tick tock goes the clock even for the monster

The loner could not understand why wolves allowed themselves to be a part of a pack. Why they allowed themselves to slave away for a pair of wolves that supposedly dictated what they were and were not allowed to do. To live among her own kind in such close places that interworking of comradery, she just couldn’t seem to understand. As a pup growing up in her younger years, she didn’t get that basic teachings that living in a pack had its benefits. That being among her kind made survival much easier, that sense of feeling needed and wanted would have been filled if she had lived in a pack. Yet the loneliness and hardships grew her into a cold heartless creature. Seeing those that lived in a pack, she felt that they were cheating Mother Nature- they were breaking her rules. Perhaps deep down all that hatred all that disgust of being among pack wolves, was her way of being jealous. She did not have what these odd wolves had, she knew she had a problem according to her pack based on a mark, but not once did she ever have that needed experience to learn to grow and develop relationships. The gruesome create was messed up in numerous ways and it would take an extremely long time to change her stubborn beliefs and ways.

A tattered ear twitched when she heard the affectionate growl rumble from his chest and once again her white fangs snapped ever too close to his muzzle. She wasn’t one that held back. She rather enjoyed the feeling when her fangs sank into flesh, pulling her neck back allowing the creature to feel pain, a pain that could compare to the brokenness and solicitude she felt all the time. Yet she could not harm him, not even one tiny snap of warning. There was an unknown force tugging at her, telling her that this was one wolf she could never attack. Sapphire eyes held venomous hate mixed with confusion as she looked into is icy blue eyes unable to comprehend his need to continue being around a pack that did not care for him. Her tone lowered as a snide comment left her bloodstained lips, apathetic eyes narrowed.

“You are foolish for trusting them. Everyone keeps the weakest link for those times when they have to make a sacrifice. And let me guess, you would gladly give up your life when they asked for it…pathetic.”

She moved her face out of his own as she scoffed at his idea. That she has to be stuck with him forever. She didn’t belong to anyone or anything and she preferred it that way. Besides, he was only acting like a lovesick puppy because he had to. Wanting and having to, are two complete different things. A darker snarl rumbled in her chest as he asked her a question that many never had the privilege of being answered. She took a step forward using her chest to slam into him as she rammed her face into his, their nose only touching as her agile frame trembled from the anger and pent up instinctual feelings she had.

“No one…no one knows my name…why should I give you that honor?”

She could feel his proximity of his head getting to the back of her own head and neck. He would notice some of the smaller scars that was on her scruff, much deeper than it should have been. The claw marks from her attack was healing up nicely on the right side of her shoulder down her chest, but it could use another cleaning. She knew very well that her chest had touched his and his nearness was making her form start to tilt towards his, almost wanting to brush her obsidian and grey marked form against his ebony and columbine fur. Yet as she leaned closer, wanting to be touched, she righted herself and stood firmly bearing her teeth at him.
