He swam away and smiled brightly at her. Laughing, she dove under, reappearing on his other side, pressing against him. She splashed him playfully, sending a shower above his head. A strong gust of wind blew a wave over her face. Water flew into her mouth, making her cough and choke. Her apendeges.. just for a moment.. forgot to paddle, making her fall under the surface. Her eyes closed shut as she forced her legs to move, but she was frozen in place. Her throat hurt, and she told herself, Alana! SWIM!Her legs kicked into motion and she resurfaced. Water streamed down her head and she looked at Gizmo. The way his head gleamed in the sunlight made her heart hurt. Her eye filled with affection as she looked at him.
