Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.
Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.
Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

_________________________________________________________________________ The smoky brute sat a few feet away, banner wrapping around his paws, a friendly smile upon his kissers. He knew Bright Moon did not have many on their borders recently and he was happy to see someone new interested in the pack. He was glad to call this pack his home and he was loyal to the lupines within it, but he missed having others to talk to on a regular basis. The female in front of him returned the smile, and it made Summer happy to see it was a friendly lupine that had come to their borders. She opened her maw to answer his questions, polite and brisk, "I am Carmen. I want to be in your pack. It's alright. If your alpha says I can, i would love to join. What brought me here? Well, that’s a long story I'm not willing to tell." She wrapped her tail around her white form, blue orbs glancing down as she spoke. The brute cocked his head to the side at her words, curious as to what it was she was hiding, but it was no business of his. ”Welcome Carmen. Darcia should be along shortly and he will give his admittance if he deems it fit. I’m sorry for prying, I did not mean to be rude.” Summer spoke truthfully, he was just trying to make conversation. He kept his friendly attitude up, hoping he had not offended the female by asking a personal question. He chose not to ask her anything else, but if she wanted to talk he would gladly continue the conversation. Both sat, waiting for the alpha to make his appearance, but the pair did not need to wait long before the titan made his appearance. He walked slowly towards the pair at the borders, plume hung low rather than at the higher height that his rank deserved. Summer was surprised that Darcia would not come in with his tail and head held high, but he assumed that the leader has his reasons and Summer was not one to question his superior. When the multi-colored orb brujo made it to the pair Summer dipped his head in respectful greeting, staying silent to let Darcia take over talking to Carmen, sitting and listening on. The alpha spoke to Carmen first, not addressing Summer as of yet, “It would appear that a long journey has commenced before your arrival, Carmen. I am glad that you were greeted by a gentleman such as Summer if this is the case. If you wish to join, as you have made clear, I will ask you of only one thing-- equal exchange. It does not have to be shared here, but if you would be so kind my dear, I would much like to hear of whatever ails you-- I may be an alpha, but I am just as mortal as you yourself are. If there is any way at all that I can put you at ease, then I will do my best to accomplish such. Welcome to Bright Moon, Carmen.” The smoky brute was happy to see that his new leader was one of understanding. Some would demand to know what secrets Carmen was hiding, a lot of time forcing one to speak under threat of violence. Summer knew that other packs would act this way, but he was glad that his did not. His yellow orbs looked back towards her blue ones to see what her reaction would be to Darcia’s request. Summer assumed that Darcia would want time with the newcomer so he stood up to take his leave, but the titan addressed him before he had a chance to head out. He stopped his motions instantly, ears alert to the words that his alpha had for him. “I know that I have not been very active yet, Summer. But just as with Carmen, I would much like to speak with you as well.” The brute was surprised, but happy by Darcia’s words. He thought that a leader who wanted to get to know the lupines in his pack was a good leader, and he was much happier pledging his loyalty to one that showed interest in his life. He nodded his head as he spoke, ”Of course, Darcia. Would you like time with Carmen first? Just call whenever you would like me and I will come.” Even though the alpha seemed nice Summer could sense a hidden dark side in him. He noticed it more when he was around the beta, Iason, but when Darcia’s kind words were spoken with a cold tone Summer could tell that there was a side to their leader that he had not yet seen. He knew that many lupines had a hidden darker side, his brother definitely had one even though he had not seen his brother in a long time. Darcia seemed like a good leader, and he would not judge him for a darker side unless it was one that put himself or his packmates in danger, but he did not fear that of Darcia. The brujo turned and walked back into the woods, and Summer could only assume that his alpha would call for him when he was ready to talk. Summer nodded politely to Carmen, welcoming her to the pack, ”Welcome Carmen. I hope you enjoy your home here. If you would ever like a friend to talk to you may always call for me if you need anything.” After his parting words he turned to the woods as well, heading back to his den for a nap. ________________________________________________________________________ |
