Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Orion trotted through the field, his black form moving swiftly through the tall grass. He was running a little bit late for his daily meet-up with Neveah, and he hoped that it would be okay. Usually he was there before she arrived but he had explored a little longer than usual today. Even though he liked to be with her it was a little bit boring hanging around one place every day just waiting for her. So Orion usually used his time to scope out these lands he had found himself in, these lands that he supposed were his home now. At least there was plenty to see around Moladion, and he wasn't bored, but it was almost strange knowing that he would probably never leave this place. Well, he hadn't really expected to imprint on someone either. In fact, before coming to these lands he had never even heard of it.

There were a lot of strange things about this place, but it wasn't too bad. Orion was learning, especially with the help of Neveah. She was even teaching him this new language, and though it was hard he was beginning to get a grasp on it now. In his travels he had heard a lot of different languages, and had picked up a few words, but this was truly the only other language he had ever tried to actually learn. He liked it though. Anything that meant spending time with Neveah, anyway, was fine by him.

Orion was nearing the place where they met now. He often wondered why Neveah chose to keep him such a secret, but he wasn't going to pry. Perhaps there were a lot more things about this land that he didn't understand yet. Besides, it was good enough for him, for now. Maybe in time he would ask her why, but for now he would just leave it. He trusted her, after all, and was sure all this secrecy was for a good reason. He slowed down as he neared their meeting place, his ears pricked forward, and yellow eyes alert. She was probably already here. With a small, happy wag of his tail he pushed through the foliage.

What he saw was a surprise to him. Neveah was there, sure, but along with someone else as well. He glanced at the female, his eyebrows raised in slight confusion. ”Hello, Neveah and... friend?” Orion said cautiously, wondering why there was another out here, there had never been anyone else involved in their meetings every day. His yellow eyes flicked between his imprint and the stranger, hoping that she wasn't in any danger or something like that, but it looked to be okay. Well, that was what he hoped, at least.
