Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

She watches him and that smirk of his as she approaches him. She pauses just by the riverside on his right and her nose inhales his musky; masculine scent. He smelled of the forest and of freedom. She had a home and it seemed he did not. Interesting enough. The blue sheen of his coat sparkled with the dawn's new light. She studied him and those eyes twinkled ever so brightly. Her tail swayed behind her as she stood there and her nose tilted a little. Those eyes seemed to be laughing before she cleared her throat and spoke.

"Meltdown eh? Interesting name you got there. Are you a heart breaker Meltdown?" There's a grin on her lips as she twitches an ear and takes a paw to her tongue. She laps at it briefly before deciding to speak again. Her eyes dance and she chuckles just a bit. "You must be dear Meltdown for you are such a good looking wolf. Did anyone ever tell you that before?" she pauses once more and smirks before licking her lips. A couple of breaths taken and her name slips softly from her mouth. "I am Snowshoe and I might say that it is an interesting meet eh?" Snowshoe falls quiet then and those eyes watch him. Her body slips to a more comfortable stance though; she does not sit. Her nose tilts to the right a little.

While she's laughing on the inside this time, she is quiet on the outside. Only those brilliant eyes study him and they blink a couple of times. She wonders what his reactions might be and she cannot help but find amusement in the way that she is acting. So child-like and unusual for even her. Perhaps though; it came with there never being a litter to care for. She'd never even bothered in the past until now and why? Snowshoe really isn't sure but none the less, she's here and willing.
