Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

He was getting bigger and stronger with each day that passed, though with winter here again it left him having a hard time breathing his energy less and unable to find food as readily and easily as he does during the warmer months. As soon as the snow started to fall the mostly black furred monster’s breathing became more and more labored he knew in times like this he must get away, must stay away from the giant black one. That one already hated him already had no tolerance for him being around and he knew come spring he must find a way to stay on his own. He was a big boy burly even in his young age but slow. He could hit hard plow anything that he wanted into the ground and start ripping flesh so easily.

He was so hungry though, without his mother to provide for him the boy had to for himself. He stalked forward his breathing rasping with each breath. Somewhere there was food, good food. Something he can eat that is more than rats and rabbits. They filled him, made his stomach stop the aching but they did not satiate him as much as the flesh that his parents brought him so often. Wolves, his kind, was the best, he knew that much. They were hard to eat and kill but the thrill was more tan enough to keep him going. His jade eyes went around wildly searching for something his size or smaller. He had watched his father and mother bring home so many meals, knew that he could do it they just had to be pinned down like the rabbit. Then he saw them.

Ones like him, ones his size ones that he would be allowed to tackle and gnaw on so unlike his the white and red one Riven. He could get them he would be allowed. But there were two, so many but he would scare them he would take one down fast get other one to stay away. He had to be fast very fast. One smelled… familiar and though he was smaller he did not want to touch something familiar. Not hurt familiar one, no cold not do that he wasn’t sure why the lighter one was familiar, scent was familiar could not hurt no. That was all he knew.

The darker one then. He was slightly bigger but he was unaware they both where that the little monster was hiding away not far. But not for much longer. He walked towards them easily at first, his mothers tactic, he could not waste energy cause he had to be fast or else he would go into those fits were he could not take in air and then he was helpless.

He started slow at first drawing near his tail waving eager jade eyes going first to the one with mismatched eyes then going to the one who he would be eating. Just a little closer then he could attack.
