Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Mask of an Angel~Heart of a Demon

Maeve watched as the small fem hobbled forward she still seemed to be hurt but she kept her pace. She wanted to speak but doubted Vesper felt up to it. She still had a few questions that lingered and so; Vesper may be drawn to converse in any case. “Is your home far away?” she asked lightly enough as she focused on her surroundings. She was not much by way of a conversationalist aside from playing her many games with others she truly had real conversations she didn’t aim to twist to her purposes.

After a period of silence Vesper spoke taking Meave’s attention. She smiled an amused smile before speaking. “I never said you where a prisoner. Just that it is odd you are out alone, it’s not safe.” As she spoke of Maeve and the reason she was alone, she dropped her gaze before letting her eyes return to Vesper’s. She would give her an answer weather she wanted one or not, and so she spoke. “My birth family no longer wanted me and left me to starve and when a home did find me it was stolen from me the day I turned two and I have been alone since. She wouldn’t say she wasn’t jealous of those who actually had a family; she desperately missed hers some days but she couldn’t change that now could she? All she knew was she was on her on now.

She let them linger in silence before she spoke again, “What is your family like?” She asked curiously. She really knew nothing about this girl and it was rare anyone knew of her. She was nothing if not a mystery of a wolf, more like the confusing of a morphed life. A seed of good in a twisted girl, ever dark yet when she had a heart to share she shared it. She cared for some, some wolves more than others. She couldn’t understand much of why she wanted to help others, what good did it do her? She supposed little but perhaps maybe one day she would need help and someone would aid her in the same way.

The journey was slightly tiresome after a while. Perhaps she was built for this but she had to admit she hadn’t grown into her paws and muscles where not fully developed making this a tedious trek she could only imagine how her companion felt… “Are we close?” She asked quietly, her focus still on those potential dangers around her and Vesper and on her pace to keep on track. They would be their soon and then she would keep her promise and leave. It is how it should be, she was dark among other things but her word, and her true word did mean something. Unlike when she played her games, her words meant little and yet so much. She was always divided.
