Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

It was a game, always a game in the world of politics. If one could not play the game than they fast fell, just as his mother had fallen and just like so many others had failed. Violence was one side of the playing field but the other? You had to be a sneak to get far. You had to know when to speak and when to bite your tongue. Each syllable spoken could lift you up or be your downfall. Tesseract had always been fond of the game, and it seemed the other male wasn't so opposed to it either.

He moved in silence for some time, even after Attu had queried him regarding packs. He hardly had to worry himself over the question - the packs were easy to find, be it scent or simply by examining the loners. It seemed like a folly question, but he would stay quiet for a moment, a devious smirk playing his features. Let him sweat a little, make him question it himself. Finally, when they arrived at the shore, the water gently lapping at his paws, he turned to Attu to speak.

"There are four others. In fact, one is just over there."

He paused, tilting his head towards the borders of Diveen that lay not so far away, just across the river's edge. Diveen's peaks rose in the distance, and perhaps the slightest of movement could even be seen in their forests. They were a large pack, and yet, he had ensured they meant little threat to them in Glorall. As for the others? It shouldn't be too hard to find them, not really. There was practically one for each point on the compass. If you followed the river, you found them all - logical, really.

"Why do you wish to know how many? Wouldn't you much prefer to know about them? There is little you can learn from the outside."

He paused, cocking a brow expectantly as he waited for an answer. Then, with little hesitation, he began to slip into the cool waters, finding the rocks beneath the surface easily enough. The sting returned, but it was short lived - they could easily move across the makeshift bridge, the water rising just above their elbows. They'd need to be quick though, lest the tide change its mind. Just like Tesseract.
