The pale one is able to keep up, that is surprising in the least bit, considering how rough the terrain is that they now tread. But she is small and perhaps more nimble than most, her form can move between the spaces of the boulders rather than over top of them as she passes. She is a clever girl and yet.. her words are vexing. Why she was so optimistic was beyond Stella - maybe this could be broken from her. For now, she chooses to ignore the words given as they descended upon the small pool. It is only when Stella is comfortably numb within the waters that the girl speaks once more, and this time she is given a reply.
"Who this we you speak of, I do not know. I am no prey to any other creature. You very well are - though you don't have to be." Such a foolish child. She has not been given the proper guidance in her short life; she is weakened by her superiors, brought up to believe such lies and to limit her capability as an adult to become a true, apex predator. The scents that linger upon her pelage are vaguely familiar, the mix of such bringing back blurred memories within her shadowed mind. She does not try very hard to place such things though and when the girl speaks once again, she curves her neck, her pale blue gaze laying upon her slight form with intensity. "Azrael.." She ponders as the name rolls from her tongue in a demented tone. She had heard passing of such a name in her younger years amongst those in Paracon, though she cannot place the face to such a word, she knows that it is one of recognition. "You are a child from the self-acclaimed "angels"?" She laughs when she questions her, tossing her head as she turns back to the water and rests her gaze upon the cascades. "There is no wonder why your view is askew now, child." She grumbles, her expression turning solemn.
The young one's interest in her is rather peculiar, as she once again asks for Stella's identity, caring not of her own blood as she so proclaims. Her dark figure turns then as she moves quickly from her stagnant position before the pale one, her teeth bared as she speaks through them in an angered tone, forcing herself upon the space in which Elara was standing. "If you wish to know of me, kid, just ask your father.." A low, rumbling growl posed a threat in the seat of her throat as she looked down upon the girl, her hackles on end at the sudden tension. Why she was even bothering with this anklebiter was far out of her understanding; she was from Diveen, her perception of this world corrupted by their personal views. She would not gain the pleasure to know of Stella's identity until she has proved herself worthy.
