The cold battered the ess’ face and the rest of her body. The lowered towers of the cavern did not seem comforting, but that was the best she could get before going back outside. Mink had to adapt to the outside if it ever snowed. Being blind was one of her most real challenges, especially if the terrain she was getting used to underfoot altered. Then she would have real problems. But the girl made her way through the dark cavern, the light of the day not bothering her, as she couldn’t see it anyway. And the girl that had thundered her voice had seemed to be friendly, so Mink thought it was only necessary to start some conversation. Last evening, it seemed, had been the day that the snow started falling recklessly. And of course Mink had ran to shelter. Of course she did. And the next day, it seemed that she was lost and she needed to get back somewhere, since the wind had picked up a lot. “Yes, yes it is. Shelter is scarce out here in this part of the land. I had only just arrived when you came into the cavern as well. I am glad to have finally found you in such darkness. Hopefully the morning light will light up the entrance and can let us find our way out and into a more open space. I must admit it is a little tight for me in here, but I do not well in such darkness…” The vixen almost burst out laughing. But she sucked it back in without making another noise. Darkness had been one of her friends that would be with her for the longest. And when others spoke about it and with distaste, Mink couldn’t help but laugh, if she didn’t stop herself before she did. But she understood. When she had first lost her sight, as well as her bearings, things had been so incredibly hard for her. Living had not even become an option; she was existing more than anything. The girl had wanted to have everything she was born with back. Color had vanished, and she was devastated. But, as her thoughts digressed, shelter was very hard to come by. “Yes. I can’t wait for the time when we can get out of this place again and back into the open sky of day.” Still the other vixen did not know she was blind. But it would seem weird to bring up a subject like that. Anyway, the girl raised her vocals once more. “So, Chevelle. Have you taken interest in any of the packs around here? I myself have begun to consider Andere Seite. How about you?” OOC~ |
