Peace isn’t a permanent state. It exists in moments

ONLY DEATH AND LOVE CHANGE ALL THINGS

Wind, you can’t see it but you can feel it

And this was exactly what Sylvia relished in for hours standing quietly napping listening to the leaves above her sway gently with the squall. Her barrel rose and fell with her relaxed breathing as birds began to chirp noting the arrival of early morning approaching. This is what awoke the sleepy pearl from her slumber. Heavy eyes slowly opened carefully as acoustics laid against visage. Portal opened in a yawn as soft blue sapphires searched around focusing on the dim light in the night sky that was marking the sunrise

Behind her Sylvia heard waves crashing against the long sharp rocks the ridge was known for

It reminded her of her plan to visit Sahin and discuss the possibility of having Claire go to live with him. The aureate man had been very kind and welcoming wanting Sylvia herself to stay with him and in truth – she would have if Midas hadn’t returned when he did. His kindness is sensational and the moment of impact she had with him left a mark in her heart that wouldn’t be shaken

Sylvia smiled thinking of her dear friend as she decided to start her journey to see him. Moving forward Sylvia looked and saw Midas still asleep. Silently she prayed that by moving away from him the warmth where she had been against him wouldn’t waken him as it would be replaced by coldness. However, just as quickly as the thought crossed her mind it vanished for as she moved further away from where they slept and closer towards the shoreline Sylvia glanced back and saw that her beloved was still fast asleep.

Her limbs were stiff as she forced herself to wake up more

Slowly Sylvia moved down the ledge in which she was maneuvering around long steep rocks careful to slip on soft moss that covered them. Moving to touch her nose against a ledge Sylvia lowered her hindquarters as she did her final slide down the hill. As she did so she moved her nose away from the rock allowing herself to safely land on the damp sand.

The smell of the sea brought great joy to her giving her a rush of adrenaline

Shaking her head as locks of her tresses wrapped themselves around her hawks Sylvia skimmed over the shoreline just in time to see a ebony mare wash up from the ocean. Sylvia felt surprise wash over her wondering who was coming to the ridge now for her dear Midas seemed to be quite busy lately. A couple of mares now called the ridge home along with herself and unfortunately none of which seemed to be friendly.

Breathing in her excitement of meeting someone new and going to see her friend Sylvia moved towards the banshee slowly and confidently allowing her physically appearance to be relaxed and calm. Although Sylvia was Midas’s consort she did not feel like she was better or even above the rest of the herd. It’s just now how her mind worked. Sylvia would rather be at one with the herd and the girls within – not above.
As she got closer the pearl washed mare smiled to the unknown woman

Pausing Sylvia once more felt the wind as it played with wisps of her main like a child would it’s mother hair. ”Good morning, I’m Sylvia” her eyes sparkled brilliantly as Sylvia moved her head down in a respectful manner trying to show that she meant no harm nor was she trying to assert any sort of dominance. ”are you here passing through or are you searching for Midas?” Sylvia smiled as she waited for a response.
