THE SCREAMS ALL SOUND THE SAME

As with all things, the boy of silver and white will learn how to handle and communicate in these situations properly. But until he finds an efficient way of communicating his given name to another, he must try all tactics.

The excited waves of anxiousness subsided once the face of another now showed itself in the sea of white that characterized the mountainside; he is sable in color and noted for the black mask that encompasses his eyes. The eager expression that lit up the stranger's features put Moonfeather even further at ease, knowing that his sudden arrival was greeted kindly by one of the pack wolves. As the young male approached, the frost-eyed vagabond instinctively knelt down upon his forelegs before tucking under into a submissive roll, curious of the pack male and yet unwilling to look him in the eye in this moment for fear of being seen as disrespectful. It is only when the boy asks for his name and introduces himself as Nootau, did he send his gaze upward, his tail swishing against the snow as he began to make an attempt at communicating.

His muzzle opened slightly in a smile as his tongue lolled out in a rather playful manner before motioning his head toward the moon itself, looking back to Nootau and then returning his gaze to the moon, over and over until he was sure that the point had been given thoroughly. It is only then that he rises from his submissive position and looks about the landscape eagerly, the tips of his fur now decorated with fine clumps of snow. His tail begins to wag vigorously as he finds what he is seeking and runs parallel to the borders, reaching down to pick something up in his jaws gently, and returning to Nootau with a submissive expression still apparent. His tail is held lowly, though still swaying quickly at his heels, and his ears are held back as he opens his muzzle and allows a black feather to float down upon the earth. He shakes himself and looks back to the moon before pawing at the feather on the ground a few times. He hopes that this new acquaintance is clever, lest no one will ever know the boy's name.
