The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

Skele made her way across the terrain. After a long treck away from home, she had gotten into a fight with her mother, Ruhani. Intending on consulting Kershov about it, she crossed over the border, Abendrot scent faint on her fur. She kept walking, more like limping, her face had a scar on the right side of her cheek, she was bruised, her front right leg had bite wounds on them as well. Her mother had put up quite a fight when she attacked her but she wasn't going to let that stop her, holding her tail at Epsilon rank, she stopped in a small clearing. Sat and licked her leg where the deep bite marks lay. She had only fought back so she wouldn't be killed by her own mother. Skele lifted her maw to the sky to scent the air. Might as well call. Letting out her deep howl, calling for the spies. Time for an evaluation

The fight wasn't that bad now that she thought about it, she'd just been spying on a couple of the spies to see what they were up to, troublesome, she must say. They got into a good amount of trouble when they were hunting, but none the less, she was proud. If her aunt Ivy was here, she'd be proud of her rank, that Skeletor was able to get this far and still survive in this world. The evaluation wouldn't be that bad, just seeing what they knew and maybe teaching them a few things that she knew. Once they were to get here, she'd tell them what had happened and everything and apologize for this not happening sooner.

Ears perked, listening. Keeping her breathing steady as she took in wiffs of the air, she listened carefully. She was downwind from the beeze, so any spies coming from her opposite direction she'd be able to smell, any coming from her direction she came, she would not. She may see them though. All of her senses alert, she waited patiently for the bunch of spies that likely were to come.
