It was positively pleasurable to see the reaction of Nakki if only for a mere second before he attempted to flit away for this merry chase. It was perhaps the will of the fates that the same situation Nakki had found herself in, considering she had been the aggressor, was now reversed. Like a play that would repeat itself. Hopefully so - he'd rather not be mauled to death by a cat-wolf and a crazy female. So focused on Nakki and her reaction Enderly did not pay attention - shame on him - so that when Faline darted towards him and launched herself at his throat it was by the grace of reflexes that he managed to pull away enough that her front teeth only sunk into the shallow top layer of his skin. In a swift jerk of his head Enderly managed to pull himself out of her jaws but left a small piece of fur and skin with her. Blood rushed eagerly down his raven fur and dripped onto the marshy ground and his paws.

Nakki was quick. She was a myriad of things to Enderly: insane, clever, quick, cunning, vicious, and so many paradoxes that he might never fully puzzle her out. But one thing that Enderly was right at this moment - annoyed. He was annoyed with this new sinuous female that had saw fit to insert herself into this situation. All he wanted was some time to taunt the black wolf and to try and solve her puzzle. Now he would have to find some way out of his predicament. Enderly's narrow head lowered and his lips peeled back to reveal shining canines as he snarled at Faline before edging himself sideways so that he could keep an eye on the pair as Nakki circled around him.

Well he had intended to seduce Nakki with coy words. With two obviously crazy females talking sweetly of murdering him it would take his most cunning words to beguile them. But was it really beguiling if he truely intended to see his words through, although he hoped to sow some discord in with it?

With his ears half-cocked Enderly's silver eyes glance between the two females as if trying to puzzle them out. "I suppose that determines it. All the females in this land are insane." He humphs as if he has solved a great mystery but Enderly is still tense and expectant. Trying to appease a stranger is tough but add in that they are both insane, well, he certainly had a challenge.

"Killing me may suit your desires for the moment, but don't you seek something more lasting? Something on a grander scale? You see, shadow wolf," he speaks, his voice suave and confident as he focuses on Nakki, "after your swift getaway - nice acting, by the way, quite convincing - I had a little chat with the angel-wolf. He seems to think that I'd make an interesting addition to his warrior pack. And as much as I enjoyed our fight I don't think that I'll find their ideals very... mmm, interesting. But would it not be prudent to have a confidante within the enemy's borders?" Now a real fire seemed to alight within his eyes and his mouth opened as if he were tasting something sweet. He turns those beguiling eyes on Faline, eying her distinctive coat, but his gaze is burning - alive with the possibilities. "And you, cat wolf, do you not seek to earn favor as well? I imagine life here can't be very.... enjoyable."
