The boy couldn’t help but simply stand heartbroken. First Wraith now Vain… And their dad was gone too? Did he only have his mother left to return too? His face fell really why was he even here. He guessed for his mother but he gathered her hunt was not going very well, perhaps he could help her find Chernobyl? But what made her so different from Wraith leaving? Whatever it was he was happy that Andras’ didn’t care that he was gone and instead focused on her leaving. Yes, yes. It was what he must do, find her and figure out where she had gone. He was certain now if he could do that perhaps Andras will find a place for him in Iromar, maybe give him a special job?

”Chael… What if I found Chernobyl? Do you think Andras would like that?” The boy asked with a tilt of his head wondering if really he could do anything. It was his only hope really, he was not a seer like his father or a fighter like his mother, he was nothing. He was just Istas, a boy with no talents but running with his tail between his legs and being the Ghost of Iromar. Nothing special, no one important. Vain had the muscle, Wraith and Istas were just little light fairies to be beat around. Again it was no wonder his brother had left to find some purpose in this world they lived in.

He continued his assult on the alligator pausing again when Chael offered him the stomach. He had issue at first tearing the stomach open but soon found his fangs to hook on some scales and pulling the flesh away. He feasted for a moment, only looking more like a nightmare from someone’s dreams as blood started to tinge his chin and chest, he couldn’t say that Aligator was his favorite meal, but it was a meal it was good and it was simply just made better by the company he enjoyed it with. Chael seemed to think that Wraith was safe though, perhaps he knew where so Istas could visit him.

“Do you know where he went? Wraith I mean… ” He asked softly hoping that he could set off and attempt to find his brother somewhere. Vain sounded as lost as their father was but Wraith… he was still someone he could save and at least continue to be with. He didn’t want to lose both of his triplet brothers, they were the only ones he had and he guessed ever would have.

They never seem to catch my eye but I never wondered why
