PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Little Bird is not left to herself for long. A pale mare with white spread and splattered on her rump approached in a way that was sure to annoy some of the mares in the herd. She shifted and glanced at the group for a second, hoping none would be bothered by such energy early in the morning. She did not know most of these mares, she did not know how easily they could be annoyed. Letting her gaze rest again on the pale mare, she decided this was her chance to begin interacting again. The buckskin roan let a smile slip onto her face attempted not to glance uneasily at the herd again. The mare's voice was loud and high, no doubt she wold wake some up. Perhaps it was a blessing and Little Bird would be able to watch them interact and know when their breaking point was, but right now the yearling had to focus her attention on the pale mare.

Her accent was thick and heavy, though the yearling did not mind it. It was nice to hear a voice more unique and different from most. Her mother had always kept her away from other horses, maybe allowing them to be close to a few mares, but she never had seen anyone with an accent that she was hearing right now. "Yes. The sun felt better today." She said, voice wavering a bit at the beginning before she got it under control. The yearling had barely spoke during her exploration, but she was surprised to see that it wasn't as roughly spoken as she thought it would be.

Little Bird wished for a tree like there was in the Falls, so she would not feel so open as she stood next to the herd. Trees were very bland and boring, though. They shook their leaves and offered shade from the sun that warmed her every morning. She had not seen many trees on the Peak, but she knew that all leaves were green. She had yet to experience fall with them. "What do you think about trees?" The question popped out of Little Bird's mouth without much consideration, but perhaps it would strengthen the conversation and let it last a little bit longer. Blinking slowly, The buckskin roan waited for an answer.
