Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

goes the clock, we laughed at fate and mourned her, tick tock goes the clock even for the monster

She was not inclined to stay in his presence any longer. She was irritated that he was making fun of her for being tied to Chael. She did not ask for Fate to give her more reasons on why she hated her life. She didn’t ask to be cursed and she didn’t ask to be given some foolish weakling as her attached other half. Sapphire slits narrowed when she noticed his ebony and crimson marked face give her a smug look. She was a proud creature and bowing to her instincts and her imprint’s strong desire for a pup was not one of her greatest moments. She did not want to be with Chael and with his look upon her, his unfair judgment was enough to make her want to leave. Not to mention she was starving. She could feel her stomach growl in protest, wanting to know why she was not on the prowl for food. Her grey trimmed ears flattened against her ebony skull as a low annoyed growl rumbled from the back of her throat. Ivories glinted in the moonlight as her cold venomous tone dripped out.

“Of course I see weakness in this bond…as do you, and do not lie to me and tell me otherwise.”

Her head had risen to match his. Her scarred muzzle almost touching his. The mauled side of her face glisten with new small amounts of blood came out. She was healing, the way her matted skin showed, but winter had made it raw. It would take some time before the skin and scarring would fully heal, and the more trips she took to Diveen to be in the Master Healer’s care it wouldn’t be long before blood wouldn’t appear at the sudden movement of her face muscle. Her face would be permanently ruined, and yet she never did care for her looks. She could feel the parasite in her move around at the sound of the brute’s challenge. The parasite moved and kicked causing the feminine host to smirk. Her own fangs shown to him, her own tongue moving around her own sharp teeth, mimicking his moves. It would seem she was acting on behalf of the little parasite that was growing inside her, clearly it did not have the capability of backing down. Her hackles remained up as she shoved her face close to his, their muzzles barely touching, her tone lowered as it hissed out a warning.

“I can assure you the child will be nothing like its Father.”

Her cold gaze would break away once his black lips covered his teeth. She would turn her head away, her ears twitched at the sound of his voice. She was far more interested in leaving the banks of the river to find food than continue standing here. She needed to feed and he needed to get going. He had his precious mate to feed…oh how lucky was she. She did notice that venomous tone, threatening her. Her ebony crown would tilt to the side as she let out a harsh cold chuckle. She was a loner. She kept to herself. She didn’t deal with the politics of packs. She lived her life the only way she knew how, to save her own skin. By doing that she had no need to create a sort of alliance with any pack. Isola and her Angels of Diveen owed her only to fix her up, after saving the Angel King’s life. That was all that relationship was and slowly it would be coming to an end. Her sly tone dripped out slowly as her sapphire eyes met his sunset ones, not issuing a challenge, just solidifying a statement.

“Why would I align against your kind? I am a loner, no one wants me.”

It was true. She was a loner. No one had approached her wanting to come along and welcome her into their fold. Everyone just let her be and that was all that needed to be done. She wanted nothing more to do with Chael. He wanted too many things from her, things she was incapable of giving him. The only thing she could provide him was a child to call his own, and in a few days she would fulfill his wants. She shook her head as Andras told her what she could and could not do with her bond. She could hear the claim of ownership in his voice and she turned her head away from him. Could he not tell that his hold on Chael, his grip, was far too strong on the boy? Chael served the pack before her, this she knew and this she would not change. After all, it kept him away from her. Her shoulders would move up and down as she spoke with an air of indifference.

“Chael ponit ipsum ante omnes. Sic nodo Ne intorta cauda.”

Chael puts the pack before everyone. So, don’t get your tail twisted in a knot.”

She would turn and watch him carefully as he circled around her once more. It was clear that her sleek ebony form held the parasite, and it wouldn’t be long before the parasite would leave her body. She only had a matter of days. She should be curled up, hidden away in a den, feeling safe and protected before getting ready to deliver her first pup. Yet she was a loner, inexperienced when it came to delivering a pup and here she was out in the open. She needed food and as he finished pacing around her ready to depart she turned and walked away, searching for her next meal. Yet she stopped in her tracks and turned her head around, the moonlight casting sinister shadows along the mauled side of her face. Her long ebony tail, tipped with grey swayed side to side slowly as she tilted her dial in afterthought.

“You are right, I wouldn’t like being called that, but….my name is not important. All you want is the pup, nothing more.”

It never was important to anyone so why should it be now? She wasn’t one that gave her name to just anyone. A name meant empowerment. To give anyone her name meant they had the right to control her in some way, and that was something she could not have. She was known by other titles, in other places, and she could have just give him one of those, but really she would rather remain unknown. Already many knew she was the one that saved Heyel…she didn’t need anyone to associate her with a name. After all, no one’s time was running out…at least, not yet. This meeting was only to solidify his ownership for the parasite that grew inside her, he did not want her. She meant nothing to him. She would give the child up, he should be thankful that he has another mouth to feed.
