Peace isn’t a permanent state. It exists in moments

ONLY DEATH AND LOVE CHANGE ALL THINGS

Sleep was completely out of reach for the pearl girl

Her mind rushed with far too many thoughts and longing desires to have sleep effectively take her away into a dreamless escape. Blonde eye lashes tickled the tops of her cheeks briefly before allowing her bright sapphire spheres to look up across the dark starry filled horizon that was quickly becoming light. Millions of stars twinkled all that once which made her smile. All her life Sylvia had felt like she was drawn to the moonlight and stars. Something about the unknown of it all and how beautiful everything looked and felt captivating – every time

Right above her a shoot star shot across the sky

It was as though the gods above were listening to her prayers about finding a suitable home for her daughter who was so lost in life. Instantly Sahin’s name came into her mind just like she knew it would and his handsome pale face came into mind. Often Sylvia just like now thought of the man – his generosity, kindness, and over all calm company. For a little while not Sylvia felt the urge to go visit her friend but something always came up that stopped her. And every time something had disappoint played with her heart and the longing only grew stronger

Tonight though as she watched the shooting star disappear – was the night

Looking around she saw her daughter and beloved sleeping peacefully nearby her. The sight made Sylvia smile before she slipped away from the duo and carefully maneuvered her way through the thick jungle. Long foliage tried to wrap itself around her long limbs causing the pearlino to brake them as she forced her way onward until finally the jungle broke free ending the premotor of the ridge as she barreled into the paradise unannounced and quite loudly

Pausing to allow all the noise settle Sylvia looked back up at the sky

In the horizon the sun was now peaking it’s head over the slopping hills and neighboring birds were waking up and sounding off their soft tune. This is what Sylvia wanted – the brilliant colors of dawn and love tones of birds in her ears. Hands down it was one of the best times of day – if not thee best and she relished in it as she wandered through palm tress before finally coming to an open meadow

Skimming it over Sylvia felt disappointed for she did not see Sahin

Her soft pale nose wrinkled as she started to wonder if her spotted friend was around and decided to turn and head back towards a cluster of palm trees. This is where she rested before calling for her friend. As she waited birds continued to chirp around her in every direction and the sun continued to rise in the early morning sky as the cool dampness of the summers morning settled within the atmosphere. Our pearl banshee waited a few more blissful moments before calling one more time just in case Sahin hadn’t heard her the first time or just in case he had been asleep. If Sahin did not come after a little while Sylvia would simply slip back through the borders of ridge and paradise and end up going back home.

Sylvia would try again some other time- very soon
