Well you hit the "nail" on the head. that track is deeply impressed in the snow, and if there were nails, they would show. We have the other track pictures they took, and one is a coyote or dog that about 1.5 inches across. CLEARLY shows the nails. Not sure if they would allow dogs there, call the Blandford Historical Society and ask for permission. We had our panel, plus 7 other outside experts out in cougar land look at this, its unanimous, its a cat track, size consistent with a cougar. The ones here in Mass say its an "overstep" or double print? Problem again, there would be TWO sets of nails, and there are 0. Its actually a classic cat print to those that see them everyday turns out.
