PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

the unholy ghost

The air was different, and Anath was dead. She'd been numb for a long time, but this was the first time she'd felt... well, she'd properly felt nothing. There were hooves on the ground behind her, and she could hear them in a way she didn't mean to. Steps. Nothing more, just steps. A scent in the air that was vague but familiar, and her tail flicked. Back and forth, the champagne tail that's greyed down with age... right. Breath in her lungs, but that was hardly a mark of life at all. Life was something that she couldn't really get a grip on, at least not as of late. Anath could hardly handle that.

A bay blanketed mare. A child. The champagne creature realizes her approach too late, because the creature has already spoken. Ears swiveling, catching sound, barely... barely anything. Anath's eyes are dark around the edges, and she is old. Older than she was when she left. Older... right. She felt old now too. Disapproval rolled off her back-- in her mind, Impazienza was still nothing other than a child. Her tail flicked, stretching the line of her back slightly. Long moments pass before Anath turns her head. If there's one thing that hasn't changed, it's the attitude. Though she is older and takes longer to do things... she's still Anath.

"Oh, you haven't had the sense to leave." It's then that the creature's head turns, her eyes dark. There's disappointment there too-- so much time wasted on this damned mountain. Too much time wasted. Anath had realized it and gone... there was nothing going for this place. Sure, it was home. Sure, it was the place that was simply a base for the world... but that was bullshit. This was the place that would suck your soul, drain your energy, and kill you off if you wait too long.
