Cae. male - one - Iblis x Rhae - no soul & heart - loner |
The ways of others seemed so very strange to the boy. Watching the interactions between his friend and the latest stranger, he was keen on any subtle gestures, sounds, postures, and even expression. It seeemed that for a moment the darkest boy had backed down, pressing his frame close to the earth- a sure sign of submission. Only, when the silver and russet painted male moved to grasp him, he sprung like a coil wound tight. His young albeit sharp teeth found the shoulder of the taller one, and he grabbled on tight. But that was not the end of it. In retalliation, Cae's friend reached for the strangers ear, attemtping to grasp whatever he could only because he had been attacked first. The fact that Cae could have very well taken advantage of the situation never really crossed his mind. All that consumed his mind was the fact that his new friend could be in trouble, and that the stranger smelled of Gaia. If this was his behaviour- what could he have possibly done when around the boys sister? Without a sound, and because he's already next to the sterling and crimson one, he's slipping on lithe paws just beside the stranger. Parting his creme and chocolate marked muzzle he aims to grab the shoulder of the dark framed, venom eyed one, only giving a firm grasp and nothing more. If he released his friend and backed off, Cae would not go any further than the initial gesture. But if he had not, and drove on to try and hurt the friend more, the young wolf would not be kind in turn. It was a struggle of sorts, but mainly a struggle of will. It was obvious that he, along with his new friend had no intention on hurting the stranger, though his own initial intentions were now known and would perhaps be altered. But could one such as he be so easily swayed? The hunger and need in his reptilian gaze had been quite evident from the beginning. They craved after something that Cae was unfamiliar with, and he wasn't sure if it was something that was natural to the stranger or something he had learned in time. But now was not the time for such wandering and wondering thoughts, as the situation could turn more than deadly at any given moment. All he could do was wait, and stand strong and firm beside his friend. He had already decided that thing during the first few moments of watching the slightly taller one, and he would stay by that decision for as long as he lived. If the boy had learned anything in life thus far from his Father, it was that honour and courage were important, even if you didn't have a voice to show it for you. |
