some of you know/have met my younger sister, alice, who is 18 and has previously worked on some art projects for shaman. she has rped a little bit in the past but her real passion is drawing cartoons, and she has done concept art for some familiars on here (notably morveren and angmar) and for some of the dragon broods on our sister site, eltica.
sooo today alice had her interview with the art college, and she was given an unconditional offer half-way through the interview. she spent the second half just filling out the paperwork.
i really wanted to thank everyone here who has helped alice by requesting art from her and boosting her confidence. it was only a year or so ago that i found out that alice was throwing all of her drawings away because she thought no one wanted them, and i pushed her into taking online requests, mostly from you guys. having non-family members requesting art from her gave her the self-esteem boost she needed to apply for art college, and it was the pictures of your characters which she put in her portfolio.
so, a really big thank you from me and my family.
