Staring past the brute, with a distant look in her eyes, Cassandra let out a sigh. "First of all, there is no need for you to apologize, I just don't know what's gotten into me lately..." She collapsed to her haunches, letting her gaze fall to the floor.
"As to why I am here, " she shook her head at this, then glanced at Brindle, "You'll think it's silly, but the first time I came here, I found friends for the first time. After getting lost, and struggling to survive on my own, without my brothers, or my mother, it was nice to finally have someone to talk to. They all left me, the first two had an agenda, whatever that means, and Katana went searching for love... so I decided to come back here, and maybe find a friend who wouldn't desert me. And if not, to find a pleasant place to be lonely. But enough about me, you probably find me very boring, compared to the adventures you've had in your life. What brings you here?"

Sitting up straight, and looking with renewed interest in the wolf before her, she cocked her head curiously to one side.
